We apologize for the confusion, Vandu. We do have a blog post on our site that goes over the policies related to dogs on the beach. In Walton County, residents must have a permit that the dog wears in order to access the beach. We know that this is not always clear and it's disappointing when you bring your four-legged family on vacation. We hope your dog still had fun with you and that you were able to find other dog-friendly to-dos at Miramar Beach! Let us know when you plan to visit again, and we'll be happy to talk about some options regarding dog parks, restaurants, shops, and more!
