Aloha Guinnevere, Mahalo for your 5 star review of Honu Hale! We sincerely apologize for the issues you faced as some very well could and should have been avoided. With relation to the refuse, we have a scheduled pick up once a week, however it's typical that our cleaning contractors dispose of refuse left by the former guests prior to your check in and we apologize if this was not the case. As for the propane, we keep additional tanks on hand in case the tank is to drain during your use; however they may have been in the garage and simply not easily accessible to you. We have recently improved our hot water system at the home which seems to have rectified the situation and we appreciate you making us aware of this. Very sorry to hear that you encountered pests inside the home during your stay! We have routine pest control in place and as a result of this review have increased the frequency to ensure that we make our best effort to avoid this for future guests. We will certainly have a look at the window coverings throughout the home as that must not have been discovered. The hot tub being less than 3 months old and having the water routinely changed seem rather odd but we will certainly investigate that further. We will be sure to assess the cleaning supplies left for our travelers and make adjustments as needed. Again we sincerely appreciate your feedback and are glad to hear that these issues didn't take away from your enjoyment of the home. Hope to see you again soon!

As for the areas mentioned, the home owner continues to enhance the property on a consistent basis with changes such as adding split system A/C, new flooring through the majority of the home, interior paint, new hot tub, and converting the pool to saltwater. Our team will certainly assess the items you mentioned and work to have them rectified. We sincerely apologize if the home did not live up to your expectations and hope that you will give us another opportunity to exceed your expectations.
