Hide Away Log Cabin nestled in a serene setting in Beautiful Bath County, Va.
If you're looking for a quite, secure and lovely vacation that is Pet Friendly and close to nature then this is the spot. Our log cabin has a large covered front porch with 2 rocking chairs and a large deck on the back of the cabin with a table and 4 chairs. The cabin is heated and cooled for year around use. It also has a Jotel wood stove and firewood is available for $20.00 per wood box full. Please let the owners know in advance if you want firewood and it will be available when you check in. The cabin has a fully functional kitchen, with a double sink, bar with bar stools, microwave and stocked with everything you need to prepare your favorite meal. The bath has a Beautiful Hand Carved Red Wood sink, a full size tub and shower and commode. It is fully furnished with everything you need except your personal items. The down stairs bedroom has a twin bed and a full size closet. There is a dining room table with chairs located next to the kitchen. The living room features a Beautiful Antler Chandelier and an entertainment center with satellite TV and WY Fi There's a beautiful wooden staircase that leads to the loft which has a queen size bed overlooking the Beautiful Antler Chandelier that lights up the living room area. This bedroom also has a lounge chair for relaxing after a long day exploring the beautiful outdoors. There is a washer and dryer in the basement that is available for long term visitors ( 5 days or more). You're only 15 minutes from The World Renowned Omni Homestead, 3.7 miles from the Warm Springs Pools, 60 miles from Snowshoe Resort and 1 hour from The Greenbrier in White Sulphur, West Va. This cabin is located 10 minutes from the U S Forest Service Hidden Valley Recreational Area which has trout fishing, bird watching, hiking and mountain bike trails. Your only 30 minutes from Lake Moomaw which has boating, fishing, tubing, picnicking and camping. This cabin has it's own private entrance, parking area and also an out building to park your Mt. bikes in. Bath County has something for everyone and we would love to have you come stay with us.

Quiet, relaxing cabin. Enjoyed watching the deer, squirrels and hummingbirds. Loved hikes around the house and reading on the front porch. Also visited several sites in the area.

My husband and I had a very much needed few days of peace, quiet, exploring, and most of all, time without the daily responsibilities. The cabin offered all of that and more. We will definitely try to return next year.

Beautiful cabin, very clean and lovely decorations. We did not care for the stairs to the bedroom. Bathroom is downstairs which can be tricky at night as all the wood is dark. There are battery powered lights on the wall going down the stairs that stay on for 15 minutes after you push them on. Loved the front porch and the walking trail through their property. The owners live beside the cabin so easy to contact if we needed anything. It is a very peaceful setting.

Fantasic little cottage. Close to the warm springs and lots of outdoor activities nearby. Highly recommend Hidden Valley area down the road, the springs, and the Waterwheel Restaurant at the Gristmill Inn!

This rental was nice and cozy. The owners seemed to have gone that extra mile to make the cabin homey and pleasant for guests. Little touches like candles throughout, hummingbird feeder directly in front of kitchen windows and near rocking chairs, several soft throws etc. Very pleasant stay.Thanks so much!

A well appointed cabin with everything you could need. An incredibly peaceful, beautiful setting. My dog and I spent so much time on the trails just around the property. We will be back!

We have stayed at Hide Away Log Cabin several times and it is always clean, cozy and comfortable. The host is responsive to communication very quickly and is very welcoming. We love Hide Away Cabin!

This was my first time using Vrbo. It was a great experience. This cabin was perfect for our trip. It's nice and cozy. Perfect size for a couples getaway. Will definitely check availability if we look to go to this area again.

This cozy, inviting cabin should be on your list if visiting Bath County. Nicely secluded but close to town. The hosts provide a serene setting with all the amenities you may need during your stay. Highly recommend.

Perfect hideaway for a couple or single person wanting to spend time in the mountains. Cabin is very warm and modern and the bed is so nice and comfy. Perfect location to a bunch of fun activities, but also far enough way from people. Would totally recommend!

If you're looking for a fun, quite and beautiful get away then this is the place. It has privacy, large yard and plenty of wooded trails to explore. It's only minutes away from The Omni Hotel, skiing, golf courses, Lake Moomaw, The Warm Springs Pools, grocery store, drug store and thousands of acres of National Forest property.

Our cabin is located on 135 acres of mostly wooded mountain property with over 4 miles of hiking and Mt. bike trails. We adjoin the Hidden Valley Recreationally Area, which is over 16,500 acres and has miles and miles of hiking, Mt. bike trails, trout fishing, and bird watching. You can walk out the front door of this cabin and access everything mentioned above and never have to get in your vehicle. This is an Outdoorsman Paradise just waiting for you.
Bath County has one of the lowest numbers of COVID 19 cases in Virginia. We clean everything using suggested cleaning methods recommended by VRBO.
We would love having you come to Bath County and enjoy all of the Natural Beauty that exists here.
Our Home Owners Insurance Policy doesn't include Renters Insurance so our Renters need to either purchase the $89.00 policy, that covers damages up to $3,000.00, or pay the $3,000.00, up front which is fully refundable if no damages occur.
