This is a very beautiful and comfortable home. It is one of the best pet friendly places we have stayed in. The kitchen has all the essentials, the view from the hot tub is exquisite. The bed is unique in that it requires a step stool to get into it, but once in, it is very comfortable. Karen is a wonderful and responsive host and seemed dedicated to providing an exceptional experience.

We have been renting properties from short term rental providers since 2010 and while we have stayed in many amazing spaces, Karen’s house was truly exceptional. From the fantastic location with magnificent views of the Salish Sea (formerly Pueget Sound) and Victoria; to the design and beautiful art on the walls; to the comfortable furniture and very well furnished kitchen, everything about this home spoke of care and forethought. Highly recommended!

A perfect location to enjoy the sunsets. The area is very quiet and private and the hot tub was fabulous. The kitchen is fairly well stocked with necessities. I recommend staying here, you’ll love it!!

Our time at Karen’s property was amazing! The view is absolutely outstanding and the property is located in a very quiet and peaceful neighborhood which is also centrally located on the West side- perfect for viewing all the sites. Sitting on the beautiful deck taking in the view of the water was worth the entire trip to the island! And Karen is the perfect host. She was very attentive to our needs and responded to our questions almost immediately.

The host was great! Quickly responded to emails before the trip and during our stay. The photos don’t do the place justice - it surpassed our expectations! The location was great - we enjoyed sitting on the deck looking out on the water, and it was close to Lime Kiln and Roche Harbor. We appreciated having access to the Discover Pass that allowed us to park at Lime Kiln and Cattle Point so we could explore a bit.

This home was perfect for a quiet get away. Its on tbe west side of the island with a view that is stunning. We sat on the deck and soaked in the beauty. The sunsets were glorious. We took bike rides and walks from the location that were fabulous. Thank you for a lovely time.

Great place to stay, great view of the ocean. The space is bigger than the pictures give it credit for which was a nice surprise. Very quiet neighborhood, a peaceful place to get away. Host had a welcome sign on the door and the code was given early so when we arrived it was easy to get settled right away.

Amazing sunset views. The bed was comfortable with a unique view out the windows. The kitchen was well stocked and blankets provided for deck sitting. The hot tub was nice after a day of hiking. This home was clean, welcoming, and peaceful.

The home was exactly as advertised and the host was a great communicator. Check in was easy, home was spotless and the bed was comfortable. If you are looking for great views, this home will not disappoint and the hot tub is a nice bonus after a day of exploring. My husband and I would definitely recommend. We would also recommend Maya's Legacy for a fabulous whale watching tour.
