Rustic cabin within walking distance of Glacier National Park and the Great Bear Wilderness area! Located near Marias Pass and just off US Highway 2. Come experience everything Montana has to offer in our cozy log cabin complete with a wood stove, full kitchen, one bathroom, a washer/dryer, and two upstairs bedrooms. Ideally suited for one or two couples with two queen beds. Hiking, fishing rafting, kayaking, skiing, snowshoeing, and snowmobiling are just some of the activities right outside the door of this beautiful cabin! Also includes: a gas grill, firepit, unlimited StarLink internet, SiriusXM radio, and a TV for watching DVD or VHS movies. A great place to just relax or enjoy the many available outdoor activities.

The cabin was meticulously maintained and they provided many “extras” that were appreciated. The host stopped by shortly after we arrived to introduce themselves and was very friendly and gave us good information about the area.

This property is a rustic cabin on a large piece of property. It was super quiet and we had deer every morning to watch with our coffee. Wayne & Mark, our hosts, gave us a lot of ideas of hikes and other things to do. The cabin is located very close to Glacier National Park-40 miles to the west entrance and 24miles to the east entrance. We would definitely stay there again. We also were able to bring our cat and he loved the property too. This property is exactly as explained on VRBO. Don and Nancy Ferguson

Our stay at this incredible cabin was nothing short of perfection, from sharing morning coffee on the deck with deer and moose to unmatched surrounding scenery. The property is gorgeous blending rustic charm with modern comfort, Excellent communication with the host. We are already counting down the days until we can book this slice of heaven again!

Loved our peaceful stay

It was located in a great spot to explore Glacier National Park and surrounding areas. We loved coming home to our log cabin in the woods and were very comfortable in this charming spot. Excellent hosts!

The cabin was exactly as described. Excellent choice for anyone that wants to get out away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Wayne dropped by to check on us to see if we needed anything. He was kind and gave us recommendations of places to eat and where to see wildlife in the area. Wayne also gave us some info on the cabin and said it was Amish built. The kitchen has everything you need to cook and serve with. You may also find some extra items that you may have not thought of at the grocery store. The new washer/dryer unit worked well. We did a few of our clothes and helped with the kitchen and bathroom linens. Starlink worked well with making Wi-Fi internet calls and surfing the net if you would like. I never did get to test my Firestick on the TV... too much time to enjoy nature. Bathroom is efficient with the shower. Hot water was not an issue for us. We saw at deer and red squirrels along with the many flowers still blooming. We enjoyed our stay and hope to make our way back someday.

Wonderful cabin in a quiet neighborhood. Wayne was a great host and stoped in to offer advice and answer any questions we had. Great place to come back to after a long day of hiking. If you want a cozy cabin that is conveniently located to get into the park, then this is it!

A super cabin in a lovely peaceful location. The cabin has all you need for a comfortable stay, with a great BBQ grill on the deck overlooking the woods. It is in a great location for accessing the west and east side, with the east side location handy for entering the "going the sun" road. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Fully recommended!

Wonderful cabin

We loved our stay at the Sands cabin while visiting Glacier National Park. Remote, beautiful location. Comfortable space. Quick and friendly communication with host. Would definitely stay again!

The cabin was beautifly set up at a distance from other cabins which gave us our privacy. We had all the bedding and kitchen appliances we could ask for including waffle iron, mixer, and kettles. I can honestly say we had everything we needed including Bear Spray, fire wood, and hammocks.

Highly Recommend!

We had a fantastic stay! Wayne stopped by the first night to make sure we were settled and he gave us some great recommendations for a great week in Glacier! Very well maintained cabin that was well-equipped and our kids fell in love with the game of croquet each night!

Perfect Montana getaway

Family and I had a great week staying at the cabin and enjoying both sides of glacier. We knocked out all the hikes we planned the first few days so we’re able to hang out and enjoy the cabin and some local trails on our last day. Cabin was exactly what my wife and I were looking for when we planned our trip and we would stay here again on future trips.

Glacier National Park

Convenient to both the East and West entrances of the park. Had neighbors, but felt secluded and so very peaceful. Enjoyed watching the wildlife come into the yard and evenings around the fire pit.

Cozy Little cabin

Great little cabin. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking pots ,pans, baking dishes. Beautiful location! Wayne was a great host made us feel welcome and enjoyed talking with him.The welcome basket was a nice touch with wine and meat and cheese tray. Would definitely stay again!

Magical Cabin!

We absolutely 💯 loved Wayne’s cabin. It was such a perfect quiet place away from the hustle and bustle of the national park hotels. Great wildlife and nature too! Wayne was super nice and checked in with us too ask if he could pick up anything for us. Thank you Wayne we appreciate you!

Perfect Glacier Cabin!!

This cabin was the perfect retreat for our anniversary trip to Glacier National Park. It was pretty close to both East and West Glacier and was such a cozy, beautiful place to come back to after a long day of hiking and exploring. We really appreciated the hosts’ advice, hospitality, and check ins as well as all the amenities they provided us with (I.e bear spray, firewood, binoculars, etc). We will be back again for sure!!

Cabin was as described. Very clean and well furnished. The owner came and introduced himself. Gave us some ideas and recommendations on activities and places for a good meal in the area around Glacier National Park. Centrally located between the Eastern and Western side of Glacier National Park. Overall a lovely place to kick back and relax. 100% satisfied!!!

Wonderful Mountain Cabin

The Bear Creek Cabin was the perfect place our Glacier National Park adventure! The cabin was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Wayne was very friendly, and checked in several times to make sure we were doing ok. The location of the cabin was ideal as well, allowing us to be able to travel to all of the park entrances with a reasonable drive. We would strongly recommend The Bear Creek Cabin and hope to return soon!
