Master Bedroom # 1: KING 'CAPTAINS ROOM' - 4 posti letto (2 in King Bed) e (2 in divano letto full size) con ampio bagno privato e terrazza privata in allegato.
Master Bedroom # 2 KING 'SAILORS ROOM' - 2 posti letto più un futon full size. Con bagno privato e veranda adiacente.
Camera della nonna al piano superiore: appena fuori l'ascensore REGINA + 2 GEMELLI - 4 posti letto

Il bagno principale ha doppi lavandini della nave. Tre portici coperti. (Questi sono spesso indicati in termini luminosi nelle nostre recensioni). La nuova 5a camera da letto al largo di Cucina è circondata da Windows e cattura la brezza dell'oceano. Ha anche aria condizionata e riscaldamento privati.
La cucina e la zona giorno hanno soffitti a volta e sono circondate da finestre - dando alla zona giorno al piano superiore di questa casa, un'atmosfera di New York Loft. 1200 piedi per l'Oceano. Attraversa la strada e dietro l'angolo, raggiungi il famoso Breakfast Club. Cammina per 1 isolato a negozi, ristoranti, spiaggia. Cammina verso Library, IGA e Deli! Great location!! Walkable to everything-beach, bars, restaurants. Very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook for the group and the garage had tons of beach things (toys, wagons, beach chairs). Pool was a hit with the 5 kids. The host was very accommodating and communicated efficiently. Would definitely recommend staying here!

We have had guests tell us that is is stocked like a private home and much better than any other vacation kitchen they've stayed in. The rooms were absolutely perfectly decorated and very comfortable beds. we immediately felt like home away from home! the elevator was a definite plus! The pool was perfect for us as we have older adult children. We were busy until Saturday for my daughter’s wedding and we’re finally able to truly enjoy the home! parking was easy and everything but The Chapel by The Sea was in walking distance. Can’t wait to book another family adventure! Communication was excellent and she had everything I could think of detailed!!

Although I was not able to meet you in person, we are kindred spirits by you the things I love about the house...it's perfect for multi generations and the beds are comfortable! And we absolutely love how we can walk across the street to two breakfast places and walk about 2 minutes to lots more restaurants, shops and bars. The location is one reason we built this house here - years ago, also, the fact that it was the last lot available on the popular 'south side' of the island. We welcome you back anytime! But, book early!

The house was huge and very clean! The kitchen had all of the tools and equipment we needed to make meals. The hot tub was such a nice amenity on the chillier days. This spot is also extremely walkable to two different beaches and tons of restaurants, coffee shops, etc. Can't recommend this spot enough!

Oh Erin, I love this review - we pride ourselves on a CLEAN house and lots of kitchen items - just like you would have at home. And we agree - the hot tub is wonderful on a chilly evening. And of course - the fact that the house is located on the end of the Island that is only 1/2 mile wide - from the Atlantic Ocean, for sunrise to the back river for sunset! we hope to see you as a return guest.

This is a beautiful home within walking distance to many shops and restaurants. The kitchen is well stocked with more than enough pots, pans, dishes, appliances, etc. There are plenty of bath towels, 8 beach towels, 3 wagons, 8 plus beach chairs, and plenty of beach and pool toys. It was so nice having 2 washers and 3 dryers, especially with kids and after making use of the pool and hot tub. After a long day of beach time, you can get rested up for the next fun filled day in the most comfortable beds!!! It truly felt like our home away from home. Marsha is an amazing host and so easy to communicate with. We loved everything about Tybee and our stay here.

Beautiful home with wonderful hospitality

The home is beautiful and spacious with so many wonderful shaded porches. It’s a short walk to the beach and the pool and hot tub were very much appreciated, and not as common on Tybee. Marsha hosts with care and intention and was easy to reach and gave great suggestions for our time on Tybee!

We have deep roots in Savannah and Tybee Island. Several of us were born there, some of us were married there. But now, all of us are spread out in FL, TN, and AL. Back in 2019, we started a family Thanksgiving tradition of meeting on Tybee Island to celebrate family and giving thanks for our blessings. We have stayed at several homes, but this one has been voted best of all! We will certainly look to come back year after year to this house and the hospitality of Marsha!

Great location and beautiful home!

This house is in such a great location - our group didn't have to use a car to get anywhere. Home is beuautiful with everything and more you would need on a vacation. Highly recommend to anyone spending time in Tybee!

We love that about this house - you can literally walk to bars and shops and restaurants and the tennis courts and the library and grocery store! Perfect. The kitchen layout and design were superb and every imaginable amenity was included. The beds were so comfortable and there was plenty of room for our family to be separated if needed. The location was perfect. This property and the owner are both 100%. Even though the pool isn't heated our sons and granddaughter were able to swim for brief periods daily. They considered it a cold plunge after the hot tub soak.

Tybee adventure

The house and location were perfect. Marsha was an awesome blend of professionalism and friendly. We had 9 adults with 3 children 3 and under. The house and location worked great for everyone.

I absolutely love this review. That is my goal, "an awesome blend of professionalism and friendly." Also thank you for mentioning the house was in a good location. When we built this house back in 2007 - we absolutely loved the location. Who doesn't want to walk everywhere - to more than 30 shops and restaurants. Please come back.

Great family vacation house

Great family vacation home. Was perfect for our family. Plenty of room. Pool and hot tub was a bonus! Awesome kitchen! Check in and out was easy. Close to everything. Would definitely stay again and would recommend this home. Our host was great.

Great family vacation spot.

Second time staying at this property. House is clean and well cared for. Host offers many amenities over and above other properties we’ve rented. Host is always available for questions and advise. Had a wonderful vacation with adult children and grandchildren.

This is one of my favorite short reviews! We have a large cleaning staff that works to keep the house - wonderful.. I also love that you mentioned how many amenities we have over other vacation rentals - and that you are a repeat guest. Summer 2025 is booking up - we hope to see you back!

Owner of Tybee Island Joy vacation rental, Marsha Marks, is an author of several books, and has been happily married since 1987 to the man of her dreams, Tom. They have one daughter, Mandy . They only own one vacation rental and take great pride in maintaining it and in the hundreds of 5 star reviews.

Perché ha scelto questa struttura

Tom and I met on the West Coast and always wanted a home near the beach, but were unable to pay LA prices. And hated LA traffic. When Tom took a job here in Savannah, we discovered Tybee Island and realized it was just 19 minutes from Downtown Savannah, and we loved the laid back Artsy, non-resort kind of feel. So, we looked for three years for the perfect piece of property - well, the perfect piece in our price range and in the location we wanted. We finally ended up buying a woman's back yard. We had the yard divided into a legal lot. And on that we built the dream: Tybee Island Joy
We are cllose to the shops, yet away from the crowds. Within walking distance to all the eating places! This lot, seemed to have it all, Location, Location, Location, plus, it was the only lot we could find that didn't look into someone elses house - our lot looks onto a 60 foot tall live Oak tree. And OK, I confess, it was the only lot for sale on the whole darn street. So we bought it.

Cosa rende unica questa struttura

The large spacious upstairs. The pool. The double convection ovens. The Master Suite that has three seperate sections and a private deck. The six burner cooktop with the pop up vent. The loft feel with tons of windows and natural light. The THREE large decks - two covered!
