Spacious home on 100' of private sandy beach frontage. Contemporary home just a few steps from Little Glen Lake. Includes five bedrooms, three bathrooms, with a private dock on the sand beach, sand bottom Little Glen Lake. Large living room with direct access to a large deck that leads to the dock. Oversized master bedroom with amazing lake views and two sliding doors access to lake side deck. Enclosed porch for additional space for game playing, TV viewing, and additional dining.
The shallow water is perfect for large multi-generational families and children.
Two fire pits, one next to beach, one on roadside patio, to help enjoy the "dark skies" of Glen Lake.
Includes kayaks and a mooring for your own boat or a boat you may rent.
Five minutes to shopping and dining of Glen Arbor, 20 minutes to Leland's Fish Town, 30 minutes to shops and dining in Suttons Bay.
Numerous wine tasting vineyards, 15 to 35 minute drive.
Hiking trails of Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore across the street.

We spent a wonderful week at this property. We had everything we needed. The rooms were clean and the kitchen items provided served our needs. The grandkids enjoyed the shallow water lake and the lake items available for use on the lake. The provided life jackets were especially appreciated.

The host was very responsive and checked in frequently to make sure everything was ok.We appreciated all of the hand soap and laundry soap that was left for our use.The lake view was beautiful, and we really enjoyed the water. Glen Arbor was a cute little town that was only 5 minutes away.

Gorgeous lake views and so comfy! We loved being right on the lake, with views of Sleeping Bear Dunes and a short ride to Glen Arbor. The house was great for our group of young cousins who played in the water and sand. Lots of spaces for relaxing, including the lovely deck and dock. Great communication with the property manager and super simple check in and out.

Beautiful home that our family has come back to year after year. The views of the lake and the sunsets are spectacular. The amenities top notch and a lot of space for everyone. We have been coming up north as a family since I was young. Now that our family has grown, this has become our new family tradition home.

The house is spacious and very comfortable for our group of 10. Kitchen is well equipped. Spent time the dock, which was solid with easy access to the lake. We enjoyed the fire pit on the beach. Would certainly consider rebooking for next year.

Wonderful Place

Lovely place for family for a week. Kitchen needs some updates for dishes and cooking utensil. No large size pans . We love to cook and eat at home. House has great bedrooms and a host that is amazing.

Family trip

Beautiful view of Glen Lake. Great dock w comfortable Adirondack chairs..kids loved walking out to fish right off the doc, or were able to jump into kayaks/paddle boards. We didn’t use but there was a nice grill and ping pong table in garage. Great place for family reunion.

Great time at Glen Lake

This home was great for our family of 12 (4 under the age of 11 and 8 adults). Most days the weather was cool and/or rainy, but the trails and other activities kept us busy and enjoying ourselves. The only hiccup was with the internet, but with Bob’s help it was quickly resolved. A wonderful time was had by all.

Wonderful space for a family rendez-vous

Glen Lake is a special place for our extended family - for 3 generations. To be able to gather (14of us!) all together in this beautiful home right on Little Glen is an occasion all the generations look forward to. We were glad to see that some of the improvements we had suggested two years ago had been incorporated into the ever-charming space: a gas grill and a couple of extra beds. The paddle boards and kayak were greatly enjoyed, as well as the fire circle. The screened in porch was an excellent place for puzzles during the one rainy day. We look forward to our next stay!

Another Special week at “Been there Dune that”

This is the third year our family has stayed at this great house.We love the location and the house set-up is perfect. There are 15 of us ranging in ages from 5-81 -we traveled from Bainbridge Island , NC, Colorado and VA. Bob Ashmun is a pleasure to deal with and always responds promptly.. We loved sitting on the deck or dock. Each family has their own bedroom. The kitchen is well stocked and the place is quite clean. We love coming here and hope to be able to come again. I highly recommend it!

Little Glen Lake

Positives: many games, puzzles, outdoor chalk, etc. to entertain the children sandy, shallow beach Sleeping Bear dunes with trails and Lake Michigan beaches very close Negatives: dish washer was broken all week - an inconvenience with 15 to cook for and serve 2 of the kayaks were childrens size ~ 6 feet long, 3rd kayak was a double no salt, sugar, oil, insufficient garbage bags, etc. - basic supplies

Hi James, I know the lack of a dishwasher with a full house was very inconvenient, I knew that getting quick service and the repair needed would not happen during the balance of your stay. I explored the idea of purchasing a new dishwasher but even with that in mind I could not get the new unit delivered in time to help with the balance of your stay. Very sorry for the lack of adequate garbage bags, salt, sugar and oil. mIll keep better track of these items in the future. Bob

Memorable week!

14 family members fit very comfortably in this nice house. The area is amazing, with the dunes, Glen Arbor, Empire & Traverse City. We canoed down Crystal River, swam at many Lake Michigan beaches & went on long bike rides. We rented a pontoon & tubed & swam. The only down side was that the lake had the swimmer’s itch & it is very shallow in front. Luckily, Lake Michigan is very close. The house is well equipped (non stick pans are needed). Many great memories were made at this house!

Wonderful family retreat

This is our second stay at this property and it did not disappoint. Very clean, a lot of room and a beautiful view on the water. Bob was great to work with as well.

I lived on Lake Huron before moving to the Glen Arbor area in 2004. Living close to Glen Lake and Lake Michigan with the neighboring National Park occupying 70,000 acres lends itself to many outdoor activities in this beautiful part of the state.

Located in the heart of the National Park, conveniently located close to wineries, distilleries, shopping, restaurants, beaches, services, golf courses, hiking, biking, and kayaking. On the shallow, user-friendly waters of Little Glen Lake, and backed up to the National Park across the road.

Day Forest road is a unique area because it backs up to the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore containing Alligator Hill that offers 9 miles of great hiking. The house offers privacy and is just a few feet to the waters of Little Glen Lake. There are exceptional southern and western views with sunset over the Dune climb one mile away.
