Wonderful stay! Communication with host was great! Cabin was perfect! Everything we needed was there. Beautiful private view! Very clean! Would highly recommend. It was the peaceful getaway to nature we needed!

The cabin was very clean and welcoming. There were many extra touches, like nice chairs by the fire pit, life jackets and paddles for the canoe and lots of games and books, plus a kitchen with all the equipment you would need. Thanks for sharing it with us!

This is my 3rd time here and won't be the last. Place is very cleaned and organized. The view of the lake is so relaxing. The 7 days I was there not once I turned on the TV. Thanks to the host for sharing your home.

Chellney is a marvelous host, very responsive and helpful. This is the second time we have stayed at this beautiful place. They have a brand new dock, which was really helpful. The rooms are all comfortable and clean, the kitchen is well stocked, and they have games and puzzles galore! We had many ducks, deer, and painted turtles. We also had one snapping turtle come to the door, wanting to come in for a snack! Thanks for a great stay!

If you're staying during the warm months I would bring a fan. Maybe some extra towels and wash clothes. Other than that our stay was amazing. The ducks loved coming around every day. We had a deer visit a couple of times. So relaxing sitting on the dock and enjoying God's beauty. I brought a lawn chair to use on the dock.

Mid summer vacation

Had an absolute wonderful time. As it was extremely relaxing n beautiful, with n abundance of wildlife. The cabin was stunning n very comfortable n we plan on spending time there again next year.

Great get-away stay

This was a wonderful, highly functional home. Everything we needed set on a great lake in a community with a variety of outings and activities available. Great place to reconnect with nature and family.

Great place for relaxation

Our second time at the property. Very comfortable place on the lake with nice extras like canoes and fire pit with wood provided. Many family memories made here!!

Thanksgiving getaway

Property was conveniently located and situated on a beautiful lake. Cabin was even more than we expected. Great host and everything was very clean. Hope to stay there again.

THE most quietest place I've ever been. Just beautiful.

One of the most quietest places I've ever been I think the most quiet is place it was so peaceful just Is what I needed. Beautiful house, beautiful lake, beautiful area.

Ely Vacation

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The views of the lake were awesome and location was fairly close to everything we wanted to do and very close to Bear Head Lake State Park where we did some hiking. The cabin is just as the pictures show, was very comfortable and would definitely stay there again. The cabin is well supplied and the kitchen had everything we needed, was probably the best supplied kitchen we have had.

This was our 4th stay at this wonderful property. We immediately feel at home in the comfort of well-appointed cabin/house, easy lake access, beautiful views, loon calls, wildlife sightings, and (the bonus) Northern Lights! Eagles Nest Lake 1 is peaceful and Chellney and Mark are excellent hosts. We enjoyed all the greater Ely area has to offer...invigorating hikes, biking and walking the Mesabi Trail, boating, canoeing, fishing all with the right amount of downtime to balance our days. Our 2-yr old Black Lab loved it as much as we did.
