A charming and unique experience. We enjoyed our stay and the overall character of the accommodations - these are cute quirks more than inconveniences, but it's not for everyone. The listing explanation and pictures are accurate - yes, the bathtub/shower really is at the foot of the bed - yes, you really need to use the exterior stairs to go to the upper level for the TV, living, coffee and refrigerator. The only thing that surprised us was that the unit was closer to the owners house and there was less separation/ privacy then we expected. We were able to hear the owners using the garage (connected to this unit) and we could hear them when they left in the mornings and when they returned in the evenings. You need to walk down their driveway to access the unit, and it's hidden from the street (this took us a little while to figure out / find). But the overall location is excellent for a short walk to downtown, shops, town square events, etc. and the overall experience is unique, intimate, and charming. We truly enjoyed our experience and recommend this for anyone looking for a unique stay in Fredericksburg.

Texas Hill Country weekend getaway

Cozy Cottage

Wonderful cozy little guest house

I was in the area for the eclipse and enjoyed my stay. The owners where very welcoming, and it was very easy for me to come and go over the several days I was staying in “Texas Napa Valley.”

Cute clean cottage

We had a wonderful stay. House is very cute and clean. Grounds are well kept and we enjoyed a nightly fire outside and local wine. We would definitely stay here again.

Long weekend getaway

Everything was as advertised. The cottage was very clean and just a few blocks from main street. The owners were very friendly and gave us some great suggestions about where to eat, wineries they like etc. It was the perfect place for our long weekend.

Perfect anniversary getaway location!

This property was a perfect place to spend our anniversary. The location was close to all Fredericksburg activities and the guesthouse itself was decorated beautifully. The owners were helpful. 5 stars!

Small but cozy.

This place was perfect for a weekend getaway with the wifey. It was walking distance from the main drag, restaurants and shopping. When we go back we will def stay here again. Oh and the owners were very nice and gave a lot of recommendations on where to eat, drink, and explose.

Very Cozy

Me and my wife had a great stay at Serendipity June 11-13 (weekend getaway). Great location, a couple mins from Main Street, there are bicycles on the property for use as well. The couple who owned the place are very friendly.

Serenity in Fredericksburg

This was a property that is well named. Everything out the cottage was serene. Location, ambiance, surroundings. All of them made this a great spot to land after exploring Fredericksburg each day. Highly recommend this place.
