Beautiful house and location. Stayed for a long weekend with our family, and really enjoyed our time on the beach and at the house. Great location for easy access to everything you need. Easy check-in/check-out and communication with the hosts. :)

Perfect spot on a natural beach. Host was lovely. You need bug spray and closed toe shoes for the beach.

This place is gorgeous, well kept and obviously well loved. Space enough for everyone. Well appointed to keep you entertained and comfortable. Kicthen is well stocked with everything you need. Elevator is a great addition and works well whether it’s for a person with limited mobility or just getting all your bags up to the rooms. Katie was responsive, well informed and helpful and patient with my 3000 questions I had during my stay thanks to a nor’easter while I was there. Rented it for a celebration and it was perfect for that. Plenty of parking and plenty of room for plenty of people. Town is lovely and has everything you could need.

This is the 4th year we have spent our family vacation in this beautiful home. Our oldest grandson asked if we could plan to stay longer next year! Adults and kids just love it here. It is so spacious and peaceful but also close enough to the variety of activities in Lewes and Rehoboth. Katie and Ed are such kind hosts and have always been easy to communicate with. Thank you for another great year full of fun moments!

Such a beautiful home! The space was perfect for my family of 9 with a toddler! Katie and Ed are amazing hosts and give great recommendations! We took day trips, rented a captained boat (highly recommend, Octolounge out of Dewey Beach), went to the beach both at the house and down the street. Katie’s advice on the sand/beach a bit nicer down about a mile was spot on although we did bring chairs down to our beach and it was wonderful! Highly recommend this beautiful home for a nice, quality time family vacation spot!! Thank you Katie & Ed!!

Wonderful hosts, beautiful home in a peaceful and lovely setting. With a view of the salt marsh in one direction and the water in the other, we loved our stay. The hot tub was such a nice feature, and all of us took a turn on the hammock on the second floor balcony. The house was spotless, the kitchen well-stocked, and the beds comfortable. The elevator made it possible for us to stay with all three generations. Thanks for a fantastic week!

The view from the top deck is amazing! Enjoyed the hot tub, too! The kitchen had everything we needed and there were plenty beds for the whole family .My favorite was the elevator, perfect for us in our 80's. The whole house is beautiful! Love the peace and quiet of Slaughter Beach! Been coming here for 60 years and this is by far the nicest place we have stayed! The host is very helpful, quickly answering all our questions. This place was incredible. The views alone make it worth renting, so beautiful. But the house is spacious and spotless, with countless little touches added to make it feel like you’re at home. We loved every minute of our stay and can’t wait to come back!

Wonderful time at the Laughing Gull

Awesome beachfront property. The hosts were great. Very responsive and quick to take care of any issues. We had a wonderful time.

Fantastic Family Stay

The house was very clean, the views were beautiful, and the access to nature was outstanding. Katie was very communicative and helpful with local recommendations. It felt like staying at a friend’s house! We definitely recommend this place!

Birthday Get-a-Way

Beautiful property....well-appointed. Views (front and back) were awesome. The hosts were responsive and easy to work with. They even got dog-friendly birthday cake for my dog. Very relaxing!

Beautiful home Beautiful views

This house was perfect for our multi generational family. The house is lovely, modern, and clean. The kitchen is very, very well stocked, we cooked many meals easily for the 10 of us, the beds are comfortable, and the 3 porches plus the screened in one provide wonderful peaceful views complete with a breeze. We would definitely book again.

Beautiful View

The house and its hosts are spectacular. The views are very beautiful; however, you can't swim in front of the property. There are other beaches you can travel to. I hope all hosts are as nice as these!

Great family vacation home!

This home is so amazing!! Just can’t say enough great things about it. The kitchen is awesome- it has everything you need for family feasts! So many different areas to nap or read a book, as well as room to work on a jigsaw puzzle, play games, or just relax in the many comfy outside areas. The private entrance to the beach was perfect for our dogs, and we spent many hours just walking the beach picking up shells. You never have to leave the property to enjoy your stay!
