This cabin was perfect for my husband, dog and I. Everything you needed in the kitchen and tucked away in the woods with the relaxing sounds of the river behind the house. The cabin was in a very convenient location for Ohiopyle exploration and hiking. Would stay again!

Property was exactly as advertised - it was such a nice stay, and the environment around the house is amazing. You can see the creek from the back porch. There are plenty of towels and the outlets are labeled which was a big help! I would definitely stay here again.

The property was very nice. Outdoor fire pit with plenty of firewood, grill, outdoor seating and the sound of the stream was perfect. The cabin had everything you needed to feel at home. The kitchen was very well equipped if you would like to make your own meals. We spent most of our evenings on the back porch listening to calming sounds of the stream and the wonderful view of all woods. The location of Bear Paw Cabin was centrally located if you wanted to visit Confluence, Ohiopyle and Farmington. We would definitely stay here again. Sharon was great with her response times and making sure we were good. Also loved the fact thar Sharon had maps and information packets in the cabin of things to do in the surrounding areas!

Such a lovely stay. You can really tell the difference between a VRBO that’s maintained with love versus one that’s just been acquired for some cash flow. This home is absolutely one maintained with love and it is quaint and cozy. Was very well stocked with everything we needed. Felt very clean which can be tricky with pet friendly rentals. The grounds were beautifully maintained. We stayed here to visit Ohiopyle but my whole family agreed our favorite part of the trip was the time we spent outside at the house each morning. The sun rises from the trees to the right and it’s gorgeous. Will absolutely return. If I had to make one note, it is close to a rather busy road- you feel very private however the road noise is a bit loud. Didn’t really bother me and wouldn’t deter me from staying again but I was surprised it wasn’t mentioned very much in other reviews. Maybe we just came at a particularly busy time but it was a bit loud near the fire pit. Just something to know! 10/10 hosts and home. Thanks!!!

We loved our stay. Great location right next to a stream. We spent a lot of time in the front room just watching the water go by. Nice and quiet and private. Plenty of room for our family to spread out. Allowing dogs was a huge bonus. Convenient to all the outdoor activities in the area. Would definitely come back.

Great getaway

Had a lovely time exploring the property, the cabin was cozy and kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals. Location was nearby to hiking, waterfalls, a small town. Recommend and would absolutely stay again!

The place was so cute. It was close to everything we wanted to do. The little trails and the tire swing kept the kids happy when we weren't out doing other things . We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful cabin and property

We loved staying at this cabin for a week. Very comfortable, great location, great property. Check in and communication with the owners was easy. The kids loved that the creek ran right behind the cabin and made boats to race. We will definitely be staying there again.

Great Cabin in the Woods

Really enjoyed the stream flowing in the backyard and the porch. Beds were suitable, but the one bedroom is extremely small, even for a teenager. This place was terrific for our one-night stay to visit Fallingwater (about 24 minutes away).

A wonderful stay!

We loved this cabin retreat - the kitchen is well stocked with appliances and pots/pans so we were able to cook many meals in house. My son spent hours each day in the creek fishing and exploring. The location is great; close to Fallingwater, Laurel Caverns, the natural water slides, etc. Overall, we would definitely come back and stay again.

Peaceful stay

This cabin is awesome. It's clean, cute, and cozy. There's a creek and a walking path through the property, and it's a great location for those looking to explore the local parks.

Overnight get away

Nice relaxing evening, went to ohiopyle for a 5 mile hike, than came back had dinner, and enjoyed the porch and peaceful evening, got up went for 6 mile hike than back to relax before leaving, overall lovely place , just as advertised, would definitely go back!

Perfect at the End of the Day

We loved this property. Our 3 and 5yo girls loved the little creek and the playground out front. We were on the enclosed back porch anytime we were not out exploring or dining. It was perfect for the 4 days we were there.

Perfect Vacation Getaway!

We really enjoyed our stay! Plenty of room for 3 adults and 2 large dogs. Yard was perfect for the dogs and it was so nice hearing the stream from inside the house. We even used the fireplace as it got a little chilly. Warmed the cabin right up! Enjoyed seeing both Kentuck Knob and Fallingwater. We will definitely be visiting again to explore more of the area!
