Beautiful property with clean cabins and grounds. My stay was very relaxing and stress free. Host is excellent!

This was the perfect cabin and location for my wife and I to explore parts of the Upper Peninsula. We did a lot of site seeing in the area and every evening came back to this beautiful private resort setting on gorgeous Otter Lake. Cabin was very clean and Christine is very welcoming and made us feel right at home. There are kayaks and row boats, a fire pit with firewood to get out and fish or just enjoy the lake. Awesome place and awesome host. Can't wait to come back. Thank you

Memorial Day

Lovely and peaceful cabins thoughtfully stocked with everything one needs for a carefree stay. The host is kind and generous. I highly recommend experiencing the sauna.

The sauna and shower were awesome! The bathroom shower and toilet are not for a bigger/taller person. Otherwise was nice and peaceful and halfway between our excursions! Very nice hostess!

Happy Place

4 night stay, in area for family wedding. Sweet little place, perfectly appointed for our needs. Good drinking water, comfortable bed, great view from the large window, large refrigerator, NO spiders (THANK YOU) grill, charcoal and lighter fluid provided, also fishing boat! We'll be back.

Our cabin was absolutely perfect for what we needed

We were in the area looking at properties for sale and these cabins are priced right and were exactly what we needed for our trip. Communication with the owner was top-notch. She is extremely friendly and wants you to enjoy your stay to the fullest. If our offer is accepted on one of the properties then we will be back in the area and will definitely stay at these cabins again. And next time we will use the sauna!

Early Fall RZR trip

Wonderful property and cabin. Beautiful setting. The cabin we stayed in was clean and well stocked and so cozy with several personal touches throughout. The sauna experience was wonderful, we wish we had done it each night we were there. Christine was very helpful and easy to contact if we needed anything. A wonderful host. We would like to come back. :)

Great vacation 😃. Cabin was very comfortable, clean , & well stocked ! Enjoyed all the little extras , fresh flowers & yummy candy ! Christine is a excellent host 😃. Looking forward to coming back next year & will recommend to others !

Truly Pure Michigan at it's purest

Christine was great with communication from the moment I messaged her regarding our very late arrival. She gave perfect directions to find our cabin leaving lights on both inside and out. The cabin was exactly as we expected and then some. We arrived to be greeted by two deer in front of the cabin, inside Christine had a bowl of candy and some flowers from her garden by the guest book. She even had some flowers in the bathroom. The refrigerator had all the information needed for our stay. The next morning we met Christine in person and she's very personable. We could finally see the property and what a peaceful place to get away from it all. Our cabin overlooked Otter Lake with a view that just couldn't be beat. We decided to poke our heads in and peek at the Sauna Saturday and Christine made sure to let us know she was happy to fire it up if we wanted to use it, we declined only because we were short in time. My only "complaint" is we didn't have enough time in the UP or at Manninen's Cabins, we will be back Michigan - we will be back.

Only seven cabins, very peaceful, fun kayaks, and it was a good spot to explore the peninsula from.

Manninen's Cabins ...a little piece of Heaven

Our cabin was very clean and comfortable. This is a perfect spot for a family vacation or a couples getaway. Sitting out on the front porch overlooking the lake while drinking our morning coffee was delightful!

The best place we’ve ever stayed at!!

We absolutely loved our stay at Manninen’s cabins!! The cabin was everything we could have asked for; very clean, cozy, and had everything we needed in terms of kitchen supplies and utensils. We enjoyed going on the paddle boards (which are provided with the cabin) and taking in the beautiful views of Otter Lake. The sauna was very relaxing and almost felt like a mini spa! If you’re looking for a nice quiet place to relax, this is the place to go. Would highly recommend it for a family with young kids and it’s perfect for a couple if you’re trying to get away for a few days! Christine was a fantastic host, we would definitely love to come back here one day:)

Fantastic place for a getaway

Our stay at Manninen's Cabins was everything we had hoped it would be! Christine was a great host, the cabin was cozy, and Otter Lake was perfect for a swim on a hot day. We hope to come back sometime soon!
