I’m very sorry the early-morning construction noise and the way the deck maintenance was handled disrupted your stay — that should have been communicated and managed better. We will share your feedback with our team and the contractors to address work scheduling, deck access procedures, and the patio umbrella situation. So glad you had a 5 star getaway. The great thing about The Shores is how close the beach is and how nice the pool is. The balcony seating is just very nice. We'll check on the water hookup outside the unit. Not sure why it didn't work. But we'll address the befroe the next guests.

Neal, while we appreciate guest feedback on any issues they have during their stay, I would like to acknowledge a few things that I think you may have forgotten to mention. Immediately, upon hearing about the very minor leak in the hallway, we contacted our owner who had someone scheduled within 2 days to correct this and we brought over additional towels to leave while the leak was active. The door code, I have no notes so I am assuming that it was fixed immediately as well. You also forget to mention that our owner sent over a sweet gift to hopefully make up for some of the inconvenience you experienced. We understand that there was some reno going on next door. Most owners/companies wait until November when things slow down in order to disturb as least amount as possible, but some repairs are necessary and must be done. We do hope despite these minor things mentioned, that you were able to enjoy most of your stay, the areas and the views.

The AC unit has since been fully replaced to ensure a comfortable temperature throughout the home. We have also addressed the door lock issues and reviewed our maintenance response procedures so future guests won’t encounter the same problems.
