It was a good pet friendly property, however, the front porch, door and interior kitchen window were covered in black mold!! I have lived in tropical type climates and I realize that this is part of the process. But I also Know that this issue can be resolved by cleaning the affected areas as part of home maintenance!! I walked my dog daily and paid particular attention to other homes on the street. Their mold issues were being addressed!! Also, the mattress in the second bedroom was LUMPY!!

Comfortable beach getaway

The home had everything we needed and we loved the short walks to town and to the beach. Having bikes delivered to us was a great convenience. We loved the screened porch entry and the tower views. Communication was good and the home was clean. We enjoyed our stay and hope to come back!

The house was good & the location was perfect. WiFi was awful, we couldn’t even watch any shows without it buffering the entire time. I know that it happens but at 4am multiple smoke alarm batteries began chirping, guess it was just bad timing. We won’t be staying there again.

Kathy’s lunar landing birthday

Very cute beach bungalow with great location to ocean and center of activity. Beds were very comfortable. It was a nice stay. The additional poor fee was not worth it.

The perfect end-of-summer getaway!Our little family of three had the most amazing time staying here. The house was absolutely perfect—clean, welcoming, and full of charm. We spent our evenings playing cards on the screened-in porch, our days riding bikes through the beautiful brick-road neighborhood, and made countless memories walking to the beach just minutes away. The location couldn’t have been better with shops and restaurants all within a quick bike ride or short stroll.The beds were super comfortable, and the outdoor shower was a favorite after sandy beach days. Our daughter especially loved relaxing in the cozy upstairs loft with a good book. It truly was the ideal family vacation spot, and we’re already looking forward to coming back!

Nice but ...

Nice little house. We would definitely stay there again. The only annoying thing was that there TV cable did not get many HD channels. I realize that when you go to the beach you should not plan to watch much TV but when there is a sporting event on TV, it is really annoying to watch it in SD. It felt like 1970. It seems like that should pay a few extra dollars to get a better cable package.

Not good

We booked this house for 3 weeks in February. Unfortunately, the house was not in rentable condition. Thankfully, we were able to vacate the property 2 weeks early. Sandpiper did handle the situation promptly and professionally. If you are renting this place I recommend reaching out to Sandpiper - have them do a walk through before your rental to confirm that the property is in good condition. I wish we did.

Although we appreciate this feedback, the home is and was in rentable condition, there were a few items needing attention that we offered to fix in one day. mainly furniture out of place and carpets/furniture cleaning. The home is exactly as pictured on-line and has had a thorough dep clean.

Perfect location!

Brought my husband, two kids and our dog for a trip to Seaside. I loved that this house is dog friendly and so close to the beach and town center which is why we booked this. The house was very clean and there were no issues getting in when we arrived. The only draw was the limited included kitchen supplies. Not horrible by any means. We’ve always been lucky to book homes that have any and every thing you can think of in the kitchen which is why I always plan to do a lot of cooking. Love having access to fresh seafood! We ended up using a lot of paper products and inadvertently burned quite a few things with the older/warped pans/skillets that were included. I know not everyone cooks on vacation so aside from that this is a great house and location! Just wanted to give a heads up for those who do like to cook and expect to have a lot of supplies. You will need to bring every grain of salt, sugar, pepper, etc. which most folks probably do anyway.

Fantastic location. Very clean unit with exception of bad pet stains on master bedroom carpet next to where you step to get into bed and storage of towels and tissue next to toilet bowl cleaner brush. Wonderful tower upstairs. Owner made surprise visit to charge his car - would not have been a big deal, except men with him insisted on entering home unannounced and it was rude and invasive; they should have contacted the management company to do this. Management was pleasant on telephone, but could have followed up better. Could have been an excellent stay and a place we would have liked to repeatedly stayed in, but the "quirks" sort of killed the experience. We would recommend if the towel storage was addressed, bath soap provided in showers, and assurance was provided that owner would not make surprise visits. An effort should be made to make guests who have spent a great deal of money to feel welcome with some kind of personal contact, like a welcome note. Could be a really good experience, as location is excellent. I would recommend this place, but would want assurances re the issues mentioned.

Disappointment

This cottage was a disappointment. When we arrived we could not get into the porch because the door was stuck, we thought it was locked, once we realized it was just stuck we often had to have someone stand outside and kick the door open. The kitchen was another problem; the appliances were brand new, which was nice, however, the dishwasher door only opened to a 45 degree angle because it was installed too close to the fridge. Because of this, the bottom shelf did not slide out so could not be loaded. The kitchen was also poorly stocked with pots and pans. The upstairs was nicer than the downstairs and the upstairs deck was nice. The house was close enough to the beach that walking was easy but the price was too high for the accommodations.

Thank you for your feedback. We are terribly sorry you were unhappy with the accommodations. As you mentioned, the kitchen was updated recently with all new stainless appliances. We were unaware of the inability to open the dishwasher completely and have immediately started looking into replacing the refrigerator with one that can allow the dishwasher to open normally. The kitchen is very well stocked with a very good grade of pots and pans as well as roasters, cookie sheets, cake pans, stock pots, blenders, toasters, coffee pots, and much more. Should you have required something specific for your cooking needs, we would have been happy to provide it. The screened door sticks from time to time and we are looking into a solution for this as well. Again, thank you for your feedback and we will work hard to remedy all of these issues as quickly as possible.

Seaside Week

Spent a week at this property and it was just fabulous. Everything was perfect: location and proximity to great restaurants, private access to beach, pool and fitness center, very well appointed with great mattresses and linens. Will definitely return to this property!

Wonderful stay

House was exactly what we expected. I have a block from the beach, charming neighborhood, and we enjoy the amenities. House was spotless and clean, and there was more than enough space. I particularly enjoyed the fitness center, the pools, and biking around

Perfect place for our family if 4!

Everything was perfect! The right location-close enough to the beach that it was easy to go back and forth, close enough to town center to walk but also very quiet! We walked and jogged on the miles of trailer every day. The fitness center is right at the end of the street which was helpful! The listing was just as described. Make sure you bring the things not included in the listing like extra toilet paper, laundry & dishwasher soap! We had enough for our 3 day stay but if you stay longer you’ll need more. The beach equipment was in a different spot than we expected-you’ll find it outside the home. We will come back!

Relaxing Break

This rental was in a wonderful location. No need to drive - just park your car and walk to the shops, restaurants, and the Beach. It was just 2 of us but could have accommodated our whole family. Would definitely rent again due to the wonderful locations. TVs were a hit and a miss with the internet but not an issue for us! The weather was rainy at times so we sat in the 3rd story nest and played dominoes!

During the week we stayed here, everything went great! It was a short walk to the beach and downtown. Overall great property, and a great place to stay!

Excellent First Time Experience in Seaside!

The house was perfect for us. Nicely furnished- love the bedrooms - remodeled bathrooms and kitchen. But the best was the third floor lookout over the gulf and to watch the sunset. Location was perfect. A short walk to beach and to town. We loved it!

Peaceful and calm

Snails pace is a perfect getaway spot in seaside. It is cute...and the perfect size and location. My husband and I have been to Seaside more than twenty times....andfeel like we have stayed in all the places that will accept our little pets...who are like family to us!!! Having a place like snails pace allow us to bring our dogs meant so much to us!!

Great Covid Retreat

We had a wonderful time at Snail's Pace! Everything was as advertised, and it suited our needs perfectly. Particularly loved the tower room as a retreat, and the front screened in porch was great for wine - O'clock and for greeting people walking back from the beach. The location, about a half block from A30 and 2 blocks from the town center was perfect for going back and forth to the beach and to grab a bite, or do some shopping in town. Loved it!

Cute & charming

House & location were perfect. The crows nest was my favorite part of the house. Could see all the rooftops & even watch the waves crashing on the beach. We enjoyed our week very much & would stay here again.
