Sandbar Bungalow-2 bedroom- Central Location, Near the Beach, & Dog Friendly!

The Sandbar Bungalow is a colorful and welcoming 2-bedroom, 1-bath detached bungalow in the heart of Port Aransas. While it's tucked away in a quiet enclave, it is within walking distance of many shops, restaurants, and other attractions and is only a few blocks from the beach. Inside, you'll find a bright and spacious living/dining area off of a large kitchen that has what you need to cook the catch of the day. There is a covered deck out front to relax and enjoy the Gulf breezes. The two bedrooms share a full bath with a tub/shower combination. Each bedroom has a king bed and plenty of closet space. In the hall is a laundry closet with a full size washer and dryer. Please bring your preferred laundry detergent.

Outside, you'll find a large patio for enjoying the gulf breezes and a fenced SHARED yard that is shared by the complex for your four-legged friends to use. We've just added a shared breezeway for the complex with covered seating and a game area. It's a perfect place to unwind after a day at the beach.

This property is DOG friendly. We welcome well trained dogs (no puppies) that are not labeled as "aggressive breeds" with a limit of 2 dogs with a total weight under 100 lbs. We charge a $50 pet fee per dog (covers entire stay) and ask that you pick up after them when they do their duties outside and kennel or crate them if they are left home alone. If you are bringing a dog, please message us the breed, age and weight of your dog so we can pre-approve them. Unreported dogs will result in a $200 fee, and may result in immediate eviction without reimbursement for the entire reservation.

Cable television and wireless internet is included with your stay. Any additional cars, boats or trailers will need to be parked on the street.

The Sandbar Bungalow is part of a five-unit property, so additional units can be rented to accommodate larger groups. Please contact us for details or with assistance in booking multiple units.

Decor was nice (didn't feel like a souvenir shop)& everything clean & comfortable. We were able to bring our dog & there was plenty of room for his crate. We enjoyed the porch each morning & evening. Pleasant experience.

Fantastic stay.

Just a really great place to stay. Close to just about everything, restaurants, walking places and the beach. Spent two weeks relaxing and having fun. The property managers are great, helpful and easy to work with.

The property looks nicer in the photos than it actually is. The listing describes a walk-in shower, but it is actually a tub/shower combination. Also, the fan in the main room is off balance and makes a noticeable noise throughout the night. If you’re a light sleeper, this can make it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. Overall, I felt the listing could be more accurate about the accommodations and the condition of the property.

We were quite surprised with your review. We accommodated your request for an early check-in, when you arrived you told us, "everything looked great", and you reported no other issues during your stay. If there was anything we could do to make your stay more enjoyable, all you had to do was ask. One of our managers lives on the property and we would have been happy to address any issue. Unfortunately, we can't address things that we don't know about.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The whole process from booking to checkout was a breeze. Property management very communicative. The house was very well decorated and had everything we needed. Bedrooms had King size beds which were very comfortable to sleep in. We enjoyed the back breezeway with the cornhole and bbq on Sunday night with our family. We will definitely be back again. Thank you for sharing your piece of paradise with us. Cant wait to come back and visit.

The location of the property is located close to everything in town. The place in itself was very cozy and clean. The bedrooms were nice with big comfy beds. We would definitely rent again.
