Another great visit!

Love staying in Lost Keys at the itrip condos! Great spot to walk, lovely accommodations, able to bring our dog, and create special memories as a family there!

We enjoyed our stay at Kokomo Joe’s! Family of 6 and plenty of room for everyone. Very clean and no issues with any of the amenities. Though not needed, the extras for young kids was a thoughtful touch (pack n play, baby gates). We definitely used the beach wagon and boogie boards and the garage was also a nice addition! If I had one suggestion, it would be curtains in the bedrooms. The sun rises early at the beach! We usually prefer to stay on the beach, but the shuttle was pretty efficient and easy to use. It’s really the best way to access the beach since it’s a 15 min walk and across the highway. Not too crowded, though I can imagine it might be during peak summer season. Same with the beach club pool and bigger pool. We didn’t realize there was a pool further back in the complex until the second day. Went there once and it wasn’t crowded. Kids loved it! We used the beach club pool more often as it was really nice to have access to a pool right on the beach for those who preferred it over the sand. The bar and restaurant were also nice to have right on the beach and the food and drinks were good!We had a great time and would stay again! Thanks to the hosts for excellent accommodations!

Great Fall Break Stay

Kokomo Joe’s was a great place to stay for our family. We had two adults and 4 kids and everyone had plenty of space. The shuttle was great and we loved having the Beach Club on the beach. Thanks, Patty!

Awesome Family Vacation 2025

Property was delightful! Living area spacious and nicely decorated with plenty of sitting, awesome fridge and stove. Shuttle service to beach very convenient and drivers super pleasant. Loved garage to de-sand and keep beach stuff out of house! Great for golfers too!

Fantastic Stay

My husband and I brought our dog to stay at Kokomo Joe's to escape a bit of winter and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Kokomo Joe's was well equipped, clean, nicely decorated and spacious. The team at ITrip thought of everything and was incredibly responsive when we did have questions. We enjoyed all of the amenities at Lost Key and found a friendly and helpful vibe. We would definitely recommend and hope to come back.

Paradise in Perdido Key

Kocomo Joes was a little slice of paradise in the Lost Key Golf Club complex. The home is elegantly decorated with everything you need to enjoy your stay. The beds were so comfy. The home is comfortably large and was great to have all the extra room. The shuttle to/from the beach was a really nice perk. We will definitely be back. The owners were always so quick to respond. Thank you!!

It's a very nice property and the neighborhood reminded me of "Stepford" if you get the reference. Almost like too perfect. There are quite a few rules to pay attention to if you don't want to get fined...which is mostly understandable. My kids and their small dog stayed with us for a week and they loved it.The weather was warm most of the time so the pools (the one at the clubhouse across the street and the one on the Lost Key property) were often crowded with no chairs available which, obviously, is a disappointment but not entirely unexpected. The locale for both pools is nice.It's about a half mile walk to the beach but there is a shuttle if you don't wish to walk. I walked.There is a nice Publix store about two miles away. And there are plenty of nice restaurants within, say, 10 miles.It's a nice place if you like to be close to family because the main floor is basically one big room with kitchen, dining and living room all in one "open concept" setting. Other than that, you go to your bedroom for quiet and privacy. There is golf and tennis nearby which is nice if you're into those things...we aren't.We thought it was really nice that there were a bunch of "amenities" such as a gas grill, beach chairs, boogie boards, bicycles, a corn hole game and probably other stuff I'm not remembering. We didn't use those things but nice they were available.I was grateful that the host allowed us a late checkout for a reasonable fee.

Nice Condo/Driving is Necessary

Overall the condo was very nice and new, very clean. We did almost get blocked in the day we were to checkout. Crew came to fix the driveway. We run outside and they waited for us to pull out. Near bars and restaurants. Not near the pools, you have to drive or rely on the shuttle.

Wonderful Stay at Kokomo Joe's

We had a wonderful stay at Kokomo Joe's. The home was clean and cozy, as well as having great amenities. We drove to the beach each morning and parked in the public beach parking. This was convenient since we have two young kiddos. The free shuttle also looked convenient, but we did not utilize this service. We hung out at the beach all morning and transitioned to the pool at Lost Key Beach Club where we ate lunch each day. I was able to take advantage of the free golf included with the stay, as well as the Cetacean Dolphin Tours which my son and I really enjoyed. We recommend staying at Kokomo Joe's and would definitely stay here again.

The only things negative was no live local networks, is abc, nbc, cbs, all in our family watch certain shows at night b4 going to sleep and couldn’t see them… The king bed and queen bed were nice but a tad too soft for us. We understand not all people like a firm mattress. It wasn’t a deal breaker

Worst Stay Ever!

Have Stayed in this location before (2023) and enjoyed our time, this was not the same place! No working dryer so could not wash clothing, towels, etc. Pools closed for days due to deplorable conditions and then when re-opened not much better. After seeing children defecate in the pool we immediately left after first hour there. Parents in the pools drinking and roughhousing. Garbage left out in cans for days and entire area smelled, rule not enforced. Golf carts left out at nights, parking on the streets, rules not enforced. Beds damaged to the point that any small movements squeaked, so no rest chose to sleep on couches. Had to change HVAC filter myself as it was black. The list goes on and on, will also write review to iTrip Vacations as property is listed under them. Stay away from this property if you want a relaxing vacation!

Hi William, Thank you for your review. If we would have known about any of the issues you are reporting in the house, we would have come over and taken care of any issues that we could have. We were not notified or given the opportunity to address your concerns. The resort amenities are the responsibility of the HOA as well as enforcing community rules. We support following the rules, but it is not under our control to enforce them. We always promptly address any issue reported in our rental properties and wish you would have reached out to us during your stay.

Dirty but they came to clean it the next day

We checked in late on a Wednesday, the main level looked great. We went up to the upper level and dropped our stuff as we had reservations for dinner. After using the guest restroom and washing washing hands the sink would not drain, called the PM and she had her husband come fix it while we were gone. Coming in late after having traveled 10 hours and going to dinner we were ready to crash. Unfortunately everywhere I turned there was hair. Now, this is a pet friendly house (we had planned to bring our puppy and ended up not) however, most of the hair I found was not just pet hair. The bedding, comforter/blanket had stuff all over it, the sheets & pillow cases had hair all over them, the towels in the bathroom had long and short hair in almost every one I picked up. The counters in the bathroom, sink, all over the floor. Hair was tangled in the bathroom rugs, it was in the shower, on the floor in the closet, on the nightstand, everywhere. The washing machine was FULL of hair. If my kids had not already passed out we would have gotten a hotel. I took videos and pictures and sent them to the PM. I did not hear back from her til morning. I pulled all the linens off the bed and used the 2 blankets I found in bags in the closet. Luckily we had brought our own pillows. The next morning the PM sent the cleaning ladies back over, the lady tried telling me I should expect some hair as it's a pet friendly house. Most of the hair that we found was human hair, not animal hair and a little hair would have been understandable, not this much. We left while she cleaned, 3 hours later I got a text that they had finished. 3 hours for a house that should have been clean. When we got back all the linens had been changed out to white so it was easy to see that these were clean with no signs of hair. A few of the towels still had hair but there were enough that we could still all shower. We were supposed to check out on Monday but because of a death we had to leave Friday morning, We had not gotten trash bags for the house yet, I called to let the PM know what was going on and that we didn't have bags for the trash, she was in the area and brought us bags to bag up the trash before leaving. You are only allowed cars parked in the driveway, which limited our friends visiting us, this seems to be a community rule not home owner rule. The pool was overcrowded and the beach club had no parking, we didn't want to shuttle. We would likely not stay in this community again.

Hi Jamie, we did our best to address your issues during your stay promptly and efficiently. This is a pet friendly home, and we do our best to keep it clean and free of any type of hair. We pride ourselves on cleanliness and when something is overlooked, we do address it. Just Beachy

We enjoyed our time at Kokomo Joes! We love visiting the Perdido area and are returning vacationers. Lost key is a wonderful community with great amenities! The shuttle was convenient. The neighborhood felt safe especially for my children. The particular unit we stayed in was wonderfully decorated with a beach theme! It felt clean and fresh. We had plenty of space for our whole family to stretch out! The kitchen had everything I needed for cooking just about anything! We enjoyed morning coffee on the balcony each day with great views. The private beach area was my favorite with the breathtaking views with a bathroom close by. The younger kids really enjoyed the pool area as well. We walked and even had one bike ride in the neighborhood. It was fabulous! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Family Getaway

We stayed at Kokomo Joes for 12 nights. It was great. The house was very nice and spacious for our family. Everyone had there own space. I loved sitting out back on the porch every morning and evening listening to the animals out in the wild. Beds were very comfortable, and rooms were perfect sizes for our needs. My only wish was that there were more bath towels and kitchen towels. I also wish that there were containers to hold food. For example, we had a watermelon to cut up but no container to hold it all in. We made it work though. There also was no pans to cook baked mac n cheese. However none of it was a deal breaker, I would absolutely stay here again but it was just annoying not having more kitchen things on hand. The shuttle service was nice to have, somedays it was just easier for us to drive ourselves to the beach or pool but having the opportunity to use the shuttle was nice. Overall a great location, house and community to stay in.
