Perfect place to stay in Kaanapali

Loved the space, the view, the quiet of the condo. Very well insulated from neighbor noise. Great A/C. We enjoyed the view all day long from the deck, with rainbows each day :-) Comfortable bed, perfect size space for a couple. The resort was gorgeous with the best pools of all the resorts we saw along the boardwalk. Parking was so easy underground (last week of August/beg Sep). We used the very well equiped fitness center every day. The communication from KBM resorts was admirable. The directions were clear and the people were friendly. We will stay again!

Really enjoyed this location! Beautiful view, great pool, perfect beach for watching sunsets. Only a 5-minute drive to Whaler's Village to shop and eat at restaurants.

Enjoyed our stay! Enjoyed it so much we will return for a 3 week period but will search for a full ocean view room. The cleanliness of the property was amazing and appreciated. The location was perfect!

Beautiful View

Room was great! View was beautiful. Loved sitting on the lanai for all of our meals and to relax at the end of the day. Staff is very accommodating and friendly. We have been coming here for many years now and it never disappoints. We call this our happy place for a reason. KBM goes above and beyond to make your stay as stress free as possible.

Perfect!

I highly recommend the resort and would book again. The staff is very nice and the unit is extremely clean. Location to beach, pools, local dining, etc was perfect. This was the perfect once bedroom for our mommy daughter trip.

Maui Birthday Vacation at HKK-922

The communication was truly spectacular from the moment we made our reservation. The staff were incredible, and responsive, and super friendly. The pools and amenities were immaculately kept, and the grounds were too. We look forward to coming back next February.

Great Place to Stay!

We had an amazing time staying here! The resort, beach and pools were just what we were after! Our kids had a great time in the pools and especially the slide. Our 20 month old couldnt get enough of the slide actually! The property is beautiful, we'll definitely stay here again. If I had one complaint, it was our dryer wouldnt dry no matter how many times we ran a cycle. Other than that everything was perfect!

Comfortable and convenient

Loved our stay at Honua Kai. Great unit with partial ocean view. We ate breakfast on the patio watching the ocean every morning. Appreciated the umbrella and cooler left for our use! Lovely pools, many to choose from. Convenient restaurant on the property and next door to food truck park, for takeout to eat while watching the sunset on the beach.

A memorable stay for a family of 4

We travelled as a family (2 adults and 2 children) and this room suited us perfectly. The unit was well maintained and had the basics including shampoo/conditioner, towels, dish soap and laundry detergent. There were beach chairs, umbrellas, beach toys, boogie board, and a cooler for us to use. Perfect for use to the beach right past the resort or to take to another beach on the island. Black out shades were nice and allowed us to sleep in a little longer. We spent most mornings out at the beach or on an adventure and returned to the pool in the late afternoon. We really enjoyed being able to relax after a day out exploring. Pool towels are tracked with our room code and we could return them for washing at the end of the day. There was a food truck lot across the back street, and a plaza with a grocery store and local eats within walking distance. The staff, security guards, and guest services were kind and friendly. Overall an amazing and memorable trip for us! We cannot wait to return again in the future!

Bugs and cockroaches found in unit

After checking in late at night I walked around the unit and found little black bugs in the kitchen, bathroom and my bed. Later I saw a cockroach. The bedsheets had stains and shower curtain was covered in mold and mildew. I am pregnant and was also worried about the fumigation that was scheduled the next day for the entire floor. I wrote a note to refuse the fumigation for my unit for my safety but the unit definitely needed it. I immediately contacted the property manager KBM and the next day they were very helpful in finding me a new unit in the same building. They were very responsive and professional and I understand it’s a tropical destination but this place made me so uncomfortable. I was very disappointed and stressed out by the condition of the unit as I’ve stayed at Honua Kai previously for my wedding and honey moon and wanted to return for my babymoon this time.

Beautiful place to atay

The location is beautiful. The facility and amenities are very nice. I love that it is a cat sanctuary. That was a delightful surprise. I would recommend new steak knives because they are dull and more dishes.

Lots of room.

This a great family resort right on the beach. We enjoyed the beautiful condo and amenities. We really loved having boogie boards, chairs, umbrellas and a cooler available to us. We had a family of four, 2 adults and 2 teens in a one bedroom condo and it was perfect.

Awesome location and very well equipped rental. Had everything we needed for a comfortable stay as well as trips to the beach. Would definitely stay here again.

Unreal Stay

This place was better than we even imagined. From the fast check-in, the best equipped hotel gym, the pools and drink service out front and the location this place was everything we needed. Shout out to the guys at the desk out front who were so friendly and helpful. The room was well equipped with a fantastic view and we will definitely be coming back!

Great as advertised

We had an excellent stay. Check in and check out was simple; much easier than a hotel. Free parking. Room was spotless and well furnished. Dryer was temperamental but property manager was helpful. Grounds and pool area were excellent.. Beach was just ok. Not a lot of food options so a car was necessary. Food trucks across the street were great.
