Beautiful House 🏖️ Newly Renovated Jan 2025😀Kayaks, Bikes,Beach Chairs,Fire Pit

Our fully furnished Beach House is located on gorgeous Manasota Key in Southwest Florida. It sleeps up to 8. Master Bedroom has a King Sized adjustable Bed. Bedroom 2 has two bunkbeds that can sleep 4 Adults and there is a Bonus Room with a Cozy Queen Sleeper Sofa. Our Newly remodeled kitchen with eat on counter and a beautiful cozy living room with 50 inch TV. The kitchen is fully functional and totally remodeled with brand new appliances including a refrigerator, range and microwave. There is also a full size washer and dryer for your convenience. The house has a fabulous outdoor shower which is totally private for rinsing after your day at the beach. BBQ and outdoor dining are onsite.

Enjoy family time playing in the sand, swimming, fishing morning walks, shell or shark teeth collecting, read a good book or just sitting under an umbrella. In the early evening sit back and enjoy watching a beautiful sunset.
The house is fully equipped with beach chairs, beach towels, umbrellas, beach toys, a beach cart and bicycles available for you to use. We also have kayaks' available as well. Just pack a bag and enjoy your beach vacation!

Our home is a single family home, NOT a Duplex or Shared Space OR townhouse like other properties in the area.. We live in a very quiet and beautiful neighborhood.

We have parking for 2 vehicles in our driveway. When you arrive, check in quick and easy. Use our Ring Doorbell to let us know you have arrived and you’re all set.

While staying with us enjoy culinary delights at one of our local restaurants where you are likely to find live music most days of the week, you can ride on Stumpy's Free Rides, the island golf cart service.

Explore the other Key beaches including Englewood Beach, Blind Pass Beach and Manasota Beach, each offering another glimpse of the island life on Manasota Key!

When you stay with us you are booking our house, and not a duplex.

We had a great stay as a family of 6 with 4 teenagers. The house was clean and as advertised with lots of very nice welcoming touches. It was very tastefully decorated. We enjoyed the beach (within walking distance), the kayaks, bikes, and beach paraphernalia. The kitchen had a good selection of cooking supplies. Check in was easy and communication was very good with the host.

Outstanding Location and Property

We loved this property, the kitchen is perfect for families that don’t want to eat out for every meal. The main bedrooms are awesome, and the ‘den’ with the sofa bed worked great for us as well. The property does not smell musty as some do, and is at the perfect distance for enjoying Lemon Bay and the Gulf. Neither were busy during our stay. Highly recommend.

We had a fantastic stay at the Lemon Shack! It was within walking distance of the beach which we loved, and the house was perfect for our family of 6 adults. Hugo was a great host and we would absolutely book again if we find ourselves back in the area!

A perfect week

The Lemon Shack is a great place to stay. The location is perfect and the house is extremely comfortable and accommodating. We loved the outdoor areas because it was very easy to enjoy the weather without even leaving.

Great location!

This property was close to everything. The house was very accommodating. We had 5 adults and a dog. We enjoyed the private beach and fishing from the dock. Hugo was always always available to answer any questions. I loved the book of information at the house for recommendations. We loved Stump Pass beach and Geraldi’s had the best food and friendly staff.

We had a great time! Hugo was amazing as a host! There were sandwiches and snacks when we arrived because we didn’t get there until 3am. The beach was great! We kayaked, swam, collected shells and shark teeth! We had so much fun!

Lemon Shack Baby!

Can't say enough about this little gem! The Lemon Shack is a perfect getaway if you are looking to relax and enjoy the nature around you. This is our second stay and this time we brought our boat to take on the bay. Hugo our Host told us exactly how to Dock the boat on their private dock and the places to go in the area. The cottage has everything so you don't have to pack beach towels or beach equipment. Can't say how gracious our hosts were - Hugo and Marissa even had a birthday cake and card waiting at the cottage for my husband's birthday! Both of our dogs and our parrot Marley came along too. Perfect stay, we will be back!!

Clean, comfortable and convenient location!

I travel a lot and this was the best rental experiences I’ve ever had. Hugo and Marissa really go out of their way to welcome you and communicate throughout the process so you feel at home immediately. Everything had been cleaned thoroughly and there were even special touches added like a few drinks and snacks to get me started. The beach decor throughout is absolutely adorable. And the bed!!! Oh my gosh was the bed heaven! As far as location it doesn’t get better than this for the Key, you’re right by the bay and the beach is a short walk across the street. You’re down the road enough from the busier end with the restaurant/bars but still in walking distance. I put a lot of stock into reviews when I’m booking somewhere and this was a big reason I chose this particular house. Everyone loves their stay here and you will too! Thank you Hugo and Marissa!

When life gives you lemons...

We found our way to the Lemon Shack due to our first rental flooding. We had just driven 9 hours and didn’t want to turn around and go home so we were desperate to find somewhere else to stay. We saw the Lemon Shack was available and booked it. Hugo and his wife went above and beyond to help get the house ready for us to stay last minute. We loved walking to the beach and the bay, both were a short walk. They had a beach wagon, beach toys, beach chairs, bikes, anything you could want for the beach. We had small children so they were able to watch all the channels (Disney plus, Amazon, and Hulu) in the small room and my husband I watched our own shows in the living, which was great when we needed down time. They also had tons of board games and cards. The beds were amazing! I could go on and in but this was a beautiful and comfortable house for our vacation. We will definitely be back.

Lovely Christmas Getaway at the Lemon Shack!

Our family spent two nights at the Lemon Shack, celebrating a quarantined Christmas Eve and Day. We could not have been happier with our selection. The Lemon Shack was exactly what we were looking for - a safe, quiet and comfy home to create memories. From the onset of our booking, Hugo - the property manager - connected with us, providing details about the home, directions, local spots and grocery stores, and ways to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The kitchen was well equipped with a full-sized fridge for longer stays, appliances, and dinnerware for all. It appears the kitchen has just been remodeled and offered a counter for breakfasts and lunches to be eaten casually. The home itself is charming - perfect for hanging out as a group, but also private enough for everyone to have their own space. The washer and dryer onsite are a huge plus, as well as the multiple towels available to guests. The beds were comfy and linens were clean. The property manager also provided a binder to share more information on the area, including local beaches, restaurants, etc. There is a Publix only a few minutes away, you can pick up essentials on your way onto the island. The outside was magnificent, with an outdoor grill, hammocks and a fire pit for the chilly nights we encountered while visiting. The outdoor shower is nicely presented - we did not get to use it as it was cooler than usual for Florida. A few short steps away is the gulf, complete with a dock for hanging out. Across the main street is the beach - we didn't visit this time around, but will definitely be back to enjoy it as soon as we are able. We loved our stay at the Lemon Shack and we will surely return for a longer visit. What a great escape from the cold Chicago winter!
