Fully Renovated Historic Loft with Private Roof Deck

Stunning Newly Renovated Historic Loft in Trendy Gastown

Koret Lofts is a converted 1906 heritage warehouse building in the trendy Gastown neighbourhood of Vancouver.

One of only 9 Penthouse units in the building, this loft combines the openness and volume of a true historic loft, with the privacy of two demised bedrooms. It features its own patio with high top seating and a gas grill, as well as a private rooftop deck, with custom teak seating area and fire table, and incredible views of downtown Vancouver, Burrard Inlet and the North Shore mountains.

Completely renovated in 2021, this two bedroom, one and one half bathroom unit is approximately 1,500 sq. ft. with 14 foot ceilings, and high end finishes throughout.

Parking is readily available immediately across the street at Easypark on Cordova. The neighbourhood provides most needed amenities - including a grocery store and many restaurants and bars - all within easy walking distance. Our listing is compliant with City of Vancouver short term bylaws and Province of BC short term rental restrictions.

Great, well appointed loft

Our stay was great! The loft was clean, and nicely decorated. It was a short walk to many restaurants. We came for the Taylor Swift concert and it was perfect. Would definitely stay again.

A wonderful urban retreat!

We loved staying here and Kerri was a wonderful host! The place is clean, modern, and spacious, with a well-stocked kitchen, comfortable bed, fabulous shower, and fantastic floor-to-ceiling windows. The apartment feels very safe, with locked patio entry, locked front entrance, and key to use the elevator. The roof patio with great views of the city, harbor, and mountains was a special treat! Easy access to buses, trains, and ferries from this location. We do have to acknowledge that the fentanyl problem in the area (East Downtown and Gastown) means you will encounter many drug users on the street. They did not seem interested in interacting with us, but it can be distressing. We did not notice this in other areas of the city.

Grey Cup November '24

Super place, with great communication with hosts. A real treat to have fire pit on private roof top patio . While could have been considered a Vancouver area of concern due proximity of encampment, there was no concern whatsoever with both building security and all the walking we did to Coal Harbour, Canada Place and even to and through Stanley Park. Would definitely stay again !!

Fantastic well appointed apartment with really helpful and informative hosts 2 mins walk from Water Street, and 10 mins walk from (main) Waterfront Station and another 2 to Canada Place. Great Restaurants and interesting shops nearby.

This property is 5 stars all the way and Rhys and Kerri could not have been more Accommodating. The pictures don’t do it justice and the rooftop patio was an added bonus! Definitley recommend this property!

Beautiful, comfortable, walkable

This was our favorite Vrbo on a 2.5 week trip up the west coast. The place is beautiful, just like the pictures. Clean. Beds were comfortable. We walked everywhere to eat easily. We are looking forward to going back again.

Amazing stay at the Loft!

Our stay at the loft was incredible! Absolutely beautiful condo. Large, open and airy with a great rooftop patio and fire pit. We enjoyed sitting up there and seeing the mountains, ocean and cruise ships. The loft was beautifully decorated and included everything needed for the stay (e.g., coffee, oil, spices, etc.) Communication with the hosts was very prompt and friendly. We will definitely be staying here again on our next visit to Vancouver!

Comfortable launching point

Our stay was highlighted with delight when we walked in and were greeted with floor to ceiling windows and a roof top fire pit with 360 views of Vancouver. The kitchen was perfect for group meals with everyone standing around the huge island. We all slept comfortably and woke ready for the next days adventure exploring Vancouver. We grilled outside, watched the bay action and enjoyed the homey feeling staying here. Our interactions with the host were all quickly answered and they accommodated our “cruise ship” schedule - five stars all the way.

It’s a stunning apartment. So stylish and beautifully appointed. Everything is high quality and it was a real treat to stay here. The beds were comfortable, bathrooms lovely and there is so much space. We also enjoyed the roof top space. Thank you!

This is a beautiful property! Even better than the pics. Highly recommend it. My partner and I were in Vancouver to visit our daughter and it was the perfect place for us. We will be back!

Our stay at the Kordet Lofts

We loved our 5 day stay. The condo was very comfortable and spacious with all the amenities. The check-in and check-out processes went smoothly. Ideally located, we never needed to use the public transit system to get to the various sites. We were going to Rogers’ Arena daily and it was a pleasant 10 minute walk. Excellent communication with the owners prior to our stay. We would definitely stay there again in the future.

Stunning Loft

This loft is stunning. Clean lines, decorated nicely, open yet still cozy while sitting in front of the fire or the TV. The views from the roof are wonderful. The hosts, Kerri and John, have made the check-in process easy and they were both quick to respond with questions. * I would suggest trying to find street parking versus using the EasyPark lot if you can.

I would stay again

We were in town for business for 1 week. The weather was rainy sometimes quite heavy, to be expected for Vancouver I suppose for that time of year. And though we could not really make the time to get out and see the city, we enjoyed enjoyed our stay and don’t really have any complaints. The condo was larger than expected, which was good, since there were 3 people in our party; we all had some personal space. Being on the upper floor was also nice, access to a roof top patio was available. Communicating with Kerri and John was great, both were very responsive, this exceeded my expectations. And checking in and out was a breeze.

Great Loft, great location

We were 2 couples staying at this well appointed and comfortable loft in the wonderful Gastown area. The outdoor spaces are wonderful, especially the private roof top deck with it’a spectacular 360 degree views of the city, water and mountains in the background. The living, dining and kitchen area were spacious and comfortable to live in. Kerri was a great host and communicator. We welcomed the recommendations for restaurants and shopping when we arrived at the loft. Thank you for the welcome bottle of Prosecco and picking up some olive oil for our cooking needs. You will be hard pressed to find such a wonderful spot in one of the great areas of Vancouver. We will be back!

Clean, comfortable lodging, centrally located, great owner communication

Kerri and John's property is spacious, clean, comfortable and has many amenities that will helped us enjoy our stay, including their beautiful private rooftop terrace with a propane fireplace and a gorgeous view of Vancouver. Other useful amenities include wifi, coffee maker or french press, washer and dryer, etc. The beds are comfortable. The location is very convenient to Gas Town, Stanley Park, bike rental shops, coffee shops, great restaurants and is central enough so that it's easy to get just about anywhere in the city. For people who aren't accustomed to large cities, I must note that there is a lot of 'city noise' throughout the night (sirens, people yelling). This noise originates from outside the building and so the owners have no control over it- there was no noise from inside the building and the building is very secure with a locked gate, a locked exterior door, and an elevator that won't ascend without the proper key, so you are safe. The city noise is just a trade-off for such a central location. We had to purchase toilet paper and paper towels for our stay. I'm not sure if that is standard outside of the U.S.?

Read the description carefully.

It was clean and kinda funky... But for four adults it doesn't work. The shower is attached to one bedroom and the other couple has to get clearance to use it. The bedroom is very light... Early in the morning the sun wakes you up whether you want it to our not. The lack of a ceiling also makes this bedroom less private than anyone wants. We've stayed at a ton of VRBO and never have I been to a kitchen that didn't supply coffee, sugar, oil and vinegar and some spices. This rental has salt and pepper, and, to be fair a nice bottle of Prosecco. Lastly it is listed as having parking. It does not. It has street metered parking or a pay garage. We juggled those options and ended up paying at least an extra $150 for parking during our five day stay. It was clean and an interesting space and location, but sometimes interesting is a euphemism.

Amazing experience with wonderful hosts

We set up camp at this stunning loft in Gastown and loved every minute of it. The home was filled with light, the beds were super comfortable, it was clean and perfectly located for our stay. The hosts were gracious and quick to reply to our questions and offering recommendations. Everything we needed was within walking distance.The roof top was perfect for sunsets and to watch the seaplanes. I highly recommend this property..
