Fall is a beautiful time to enjoy our cabin. We are nestled among the trees and beside a creek where you can enjoy all the sites, sounds, and smells of Autumn, in all its beauty and brilliance. As the air turns crisp, enjoy family and friends around a wood bon fire on our patio or for a smaller more intimate setting, enjoy a bon fire around our gas fire pit on our patio. Our secluded cabin is located at the core of the Hocking Hills cave region of Ohio and has several private trails for you to enjoy. You can also take a stroll and enjoy all the scenic beauty our trails provide. See rock formations, caves, beautiful views, creeks, and other scenic sights while you walk in awe at the scenery. Since our property borders the Hocking State Forest, you can see additional rock formations, waterfalls, and caves with just a short hike. Whatever you are looking for we have it.

Host was great with communication and responding to questions in a timely manner. Great location and lots of things to do at the cabin in and around. The showers were nice but kinda hard to use, everything was clean and neat.

Our host was awesome! A tree fell in the road during a storm on our first night. We lost power and our host responded right away. He told us where to find battery operated lanterns and he contacted the utility company. We had power by the next morning. The property is amazing! We look forward to staying here again soon.

Great location to explore all of Hocking Hills, the cabin was clean and spacious. Mark was great for information and where to go in Hocking Hills. The land that the cabin is on was great for hiking and the hot tub was great. would definitely stay here again.

This cabin was a perfect location and very nicely decorated. We had everything we needed and the entire place was super comfortable. The area is gorgeous and worth the trip!

Loved the place! Very comfortable and inviting. Great to come in thru the basement after a day of hiking and dump all our stuff without making a mess. The porch was perfect for those rainy afternoon/evenings. The fire ring was larger than usual enabling us to have a nice fire! Trails from the cabin were really cool with rock formations not far off. Only downside was the creek. We thought we might do some fishing but it was located down a steep hill and unable to get to it. We fished off the bridge (was ok). Highly recommend this place. Mark, the owner was vey good to us. Thank you Mark!!!

Cabin in the pines

The cabin was beautiful. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and the kids enjoyed the game room. We enjoyed the trails in the property. Absolutely beautiful.

Friends Reunion

The host was great with communication and instructions. He gave great detail on fun activities for my friends and I. The cabin had lots of amenities allowing for us to travel lighter. I only wish the cabin could have been a little cleaner for the price.

Far away but close enough

If you are looking for a place to be one with nature, this is it. The property is literally nestled into the woods. The owner lets you know there is very little WiFi which was exactly what we wanted for our family! The property butts up to a state park so if you get a late start hiking (ahem…we may have) you can walk a state park trail without having to find a parking spot on the weekend.

Beautiful area

Great location to hike many trails! There are wonderful trails on the property, a short one leading to Table Top rock! Fabulous! Large sitting area. We had 6 of us and had enough room. Well stocked kitchen for pans and utensils. There would have been more towels. We didn’t use the hot tub. There could be a few lamps in the living area so you could read. We’d recommend it!

Beautiful cabin to stay in. Loved the open floor plan and the rooms were very comfortable. Having three bathrooms was very helpful with showers in the morning! Loved that we had the option of a gas/wood fire pit. The hot tub is new and very clean. We hooked up our playlists to the speakers outside, turned the patio lights on and roasted marshmallows at night. Our kids did the trails on the property and enjoyed it. Sitting on the upper deck was relaxing and the game room was super fun as well. Something for everyone in this cabin. Will definitely stay again!

Cabin was clean and had everything we needed. The location was ideal for the hiking that we did. It was nice and peaceful being out in the woods and not having to see anyone. We loved the hot tub, the private trails (but beware of ticks, we pulled multiple deer ticks off our kids), the pool table, ping pong, and I especially enjoyed sitting out on the big porch. Mark was wonderful and so responsive to our questions. If you are looking for a cabin for a large family (we have 7 kids) and a nice private and peaceful location that is also close to all the Hocking Hills hikes, then I highly recommend staying at Around the Bend Cabin.

My wife and I have owned the property that the cabin sits on for over 20 years. We are not originally from the area but we visited several times and fell in love with all the tremendous beauty it has to offer. No matter what hike you take or where you look, you will see nature at its finest. We built the cabin 10 years later so we could share our love of the area and of nature with everyone that stays.

We are at the core of the Hocking Hills cave region. We are close to all the major attractions. We have beautiful private trails and we border the Hocking Hills State Forest which boasts some of the most beautiful scenery in the state. Our log cabin is secluded with lots of amenities including hot tub, game room, WIFI, covered porch, covered deck, wood and gas fire pits, and gorgeous bathrooms.

Beautiful private hiking trails in the cave region of Hocking Hills with lots of rock formations. Our property joins state property where you can also see amazing scenery like caves, rock formations and waterfalls. The cabin is secluded and cozy. We are at the core of the scenic Hocking Hills region of Ohio. We are around 2 minutes from Conkle's Hollow (which is the deepest gorge in Ohio). We are also 7 minutes away from Old Man's Cave. We are close to other attractions like wineries and repelling.
