Great House for a Friends Ski Trip

We had a great time staying here! The kitchen, living areas, bedrooms, and bathrooms were great for a big group of friends!

Loved our stay and the location was perfect for enjoying Yellowstone and Big Sky.

We totally recommend this property. Very accommodating with our family. Easy access to the town of Big Sky. Plan your day into Yellowstone as it is about a 40 minute drive, but worth it.

Excellent friends and family skiing getaway location

Everything was great about this house and our stay - the layout is perfect for a large extended family group, with ages 4-65, the location is very convenient, the communication with property management prompt and efficient. Will definitely be back.

Stay at Little Coyote

My family and I stayed at the Little Coyote house for a ski trip at Big Sky and it was amazing. The size and layout of the house was great for a large group. The kitchen was stocked with more amenities than I'm used to finding at rental houses, the location was perfect for a short drive to the slopes, and the hot tub had a great view of the mountain range. All in all I would definitely stay here again.

Easily A-Moosed

This property was perfect g for our annual ski trip! This was our first time to Big Sky and we plan to return! The property was near everything and was a quick trip to the resort. We loved the common area that included a fireplace and table big enough for the entire family! Best of all…we saw a moose just down the street!!

Wedding in Big Sky

We rented this wonderful house for the week leading up to our son's wedding at Rainbow Ranch Lodge. The house couldn't have been better and the management team was absolutely exceptional. I highly recommend staying here.

Great value and location!

This home was very well stocked and the property management company Beehive was very responsive and cleared the driveway and deck after every snowfall. They even helped us coordinate shipping and receiving of our skis. Very nice hot tub. Would definitely stay there again.

Awesome Stay! Great House, would recomend!

Everything was clean and ready to go, good communication between the rental company, plenty of room, nice hot tub, amazing views! Great kitchen and living room space too. Room in the garage for the car and more room in the driveway for a second. All the beds were super comfy as well, great to sleep in after a hard day of skiing.

Family vacay in big sky!

We had a fantastic stay in this property! Close to everything in Big Sky Meadow Village. We were able to hike, zip line and raft all within a 25 minute drive and also a short drive from the house to the resort up on the mountain. We were very close to all amenities and could even walk to the store and some restaurants. Mom and baby elk as well as deer in the morning in the meadow behind the house. Plenty of space for a large family to stay! We were a group of 6 with my 17 year old twins and had plenty of room! I would recommend this place for all things Big Sky! The hosts were very responsive and house had everything you would need.

Great stay in a Lovely Home

Great home. Really comfortable with all of the creature comforts that you will need. Only issue we had was the hot water in one bedroom shower would not work property when the other showers were on. That was a minor issue but one that they probably need to figure out. Beehive management also gave great service and was responsive to all of our needs. They did a first class job helping us with anything we needed.

Good location, good property, but unfortunately had issues

I chose this property because of its nearly perfect reviews, but unfortunately, our stay over Christmas vacation had issues. To the property owner's credit, it seemed like he was trying, but things could not get fixed promptly which kind of messed up a portion of our trip.The good:- Amazing location- Wonderful hot tub- Lots of rooms to find space for privacy- Beautiful view- Easy to get in and get out of for driving purposes even in the winter- Lots of utensils, pots, pans, everything you could needThe bad:- The shower had a bad leak that kept our 9 year old awake when he was downstairs, so he had to sleep on the couch for half of the vacation- The communication was there, but there were issues on fixing things promptly. It took about 3 days to have the leak fixed.- Some things seem like they just don't work... the smoke alarm was out of batteries, the window shades with the remotes that raise and lower them were out of batteries, it seems like perhaps things were not fully maintained.That said, I am not giving them a 1 star because like I said, the property owner tried but it seems like their hands were tied over the holidays, and they did offer a compensation for a portion of the stay (Waiting to see how much/if it was received).Anyway... hope they can get the upkeep and such, as if it were fully kept up, I probably would have rated this much higher.

Perfect House for a Group

The house's king/queen bedrooms were very comfortable for our three couples, and the bunk room (with larger than normal double bunks) was great for the singles on our trip. The large dining room table with a bench on one side easily accommodated everyone for dinner. The kitchen was very well stocked with spices/oils, quality pots/pans, and a large number of plates/cups/bowls so we never ran out. The fridge was very large and worked great for our large group. The back windows are a cool place to see folks walking their dogs on the XC trail, watch a storm rolling in, or see the sun setting. Someone showed up very quickly after it snowed to clear the driveway around our cars, the front walk, and the back porch. The drive to the mountain was about 10 minutes every morning, and had minimal traffic. The hot tub was in a great shape and worked very well. I was a little worried the living room was going to be too small for our group, but it was never an issue. Some people sat at the dining room table while others lounged on the couches. We liked the following nearby restaurants/bars: -Blue Buddha Sushi -By Word of Mouth Bistro -Ousel and Spur Pizza -Toast Coffee Shop -I wasn't too impressed with the local breweries, but Mountains Walking and MAP down in Bozeman are excellent A few minor quibbles, but not deal-breakers by any means: -The internet speed was the most intermittent I've used in a long time. At times it reminded me of 56k dial-up days. -The fireplace was out of commission due to a major crack, which the property manager communicated to us just prior to arrival. I was hoping for some sort of compensation for this missing feature (an important one in a ski house), but that wasn't offered and the damage wasn't repaired over the 8 days that we stayed :( -When all three showers were in use, the hot water temperature fluctuated the most of any place I've ever visited. No issues when only 1-2 showers were used. Overall the house was cozy and functional so we had a great time!

To our future guests, Big Sky has one internet source, and sometimes it can be intermittently working due to the overload, but overall, it's never an issue. In addition, the fireplace is indefinitely not working due to a large crack. We as a company were proactive with providing this information to the guests beforehand due to the inconvenience. This is not an easy fix as the entire fireplace has been re-built, something that cannot be completed in 8 days or less. As far as the showering, we always encourage guests to stagger, and not all shower at once, same as when you're at your own home. When you have 10 people all showering at once, yes, the hot water heater will deplete.

We had a great stay. The property had everything you needed. It lacked speakers/ music. But otherwise well serviced. Proximity to the ski hill was great.

Big Sky Meadow Experience

Unit was very clean and having the 3 bathrooms was beneficial when having a large group stay for 3 days/3 nights. Location to Big Sky Resort and having an outdoor hot tub were keys. One note that i believe has been changed- it only has room to sleep 10 on mattresses when it originally was listed as sleeping 12. I would not hesitate to stay again at this location.
