The minute we drove onto the property we were impressed. The yard looked well maintained and access to the property was easy, we did have a little trouble with the lockbox but it was just that it wasn't shut tight. When we walked in everything was so nicely decorated and emaculaletly clean. The place was well supplied we had everything we needed for a great 4 night stay. Beds were very comfy, not to soft, not to firm. We utilize the restaurants down the road for our dinners and they had great specials each night. The only thing that would have been nice and had nothing to do with the property would have been a bigger grocery store in town. We did locate one in Cornicopia just down the road. We want to thank Amber for such a lovely place to stay and if we are ever back that way we would definitely stay there again. 5 stars all the way!

Wonderful Herbster Cottage

Comfy, cozy cottage near the shore of Lake Superior that had everything we needed. Loved the decor and it was spotless. Would definitely stay there again and recommend it to friends and family.

Another successful trip to Lake Superior Country.

This was our second stay here. We really enjoyed our stay. Rental was spotless and just a described Will definitely stay again.. Would encouraged others to stay here as well. Rick and Amber are great hosts!

Herbster Cabin

We loved our stay at the South Shore. We met family in Cornucopia and traveled to Madeline Island. The cabin was wonderful! We will definitely return!
