Private Cottage on gated estate

Completely remodeled guest cottage on gated, private estate. Home is located just minutes from Eastport, Downtown Annapolis, and the Naval Academy. (4.7 miles to the main gate).
Home and grounds are kid friendly offering amply outside play space and a multipurpose sports court. Third bedroom of home has a full-sized crib and a twin bed. Baby gates are located in the closet for guest use.

The space
Property was totally renovated in 2020 including bathrooms, kitchen, appliances, floors, windows, and HVAC system.

Guest access
Guest have private access to the entire home and yard. There is shared access to the driveway, parking lot, and sports court.

The house was roomy and cozy. There were 3 spaces to park which was really important to me. The hosts were nice and friendly. Their dogs were so adorable. I would stay at this location again.

The location is good. The house is big and clean. Overall, I like the place and will stay again in the future. One area that the owner may consider to improve is communication. There was no welcome email (no check-in instruction or physical address) one day before the check-in. I texted the owner via VRBO, but got no reply. I was worried that I had been scammed (i.e., fake listing) until I texted again using the cell phone number listed and got a reply...

Everything was wonderful. We needed a place to get away and visit with our Midshipman. This property was about 20 mins from the Academy, so we were close enough to get him back and forth while providing him a break. The owners live on site and talked to us before we left. They were very friendly and welcoming. They have a perfect, private place for guests. The apartment is updated, has plenty of space for a family, and was very comfortable. I have to give them an extra thumbs up for having a sectional and ample living room seating. So many owners have a 3 bedroom unit with a 2 seat couch. We are there to visit and do spend a lot of time in the living room. It was nice for all of us to be comfortable and not have to sit on lawn chairs, lol... yes, we've had to do that. Thank you so much. We hope to come back soon.

Although the guest cottage is on the main property the hosts were very mindful of privacy and would interact only if called upon. The neighborhood is great for walking and affords easy access to Annapolis proper. We would definitely stay again.

Perfect Setup

Perfect location to base out of for our Annapolis and DC trip. Highly rate the cleanliness, amenities and ease of communication with the owner. We highly recommend this unit and will definitely stay here again if our travels bring us back to this area!

Very clean,quiet and friendly hosts. The only “complaint” is that I assumed that you could see the water from the property, but I would definitely recommend this property.

Want to stay someplace beautiful AND safe? Pick this place! It is fantastic! The hosts share the property with you but it is a private 2 story little house all your own! We never even locked the doors... it felt that good. It's convenient to everything and easy to find and use. The lkittle house is beautiful and very well appointed. Coffee, tea, everything you might need. (I felt terrible that I couldn't find the dustpan and a trash bag but I made do!) Julie provodes you everything you need to find good food, find the beach and find your way! 5 stars!

Granson's 1st birthday party

My husband and I and two adult daughters rented this property for 4 nights. Our son lives in Annapolis and we all came to celebrate our grandson's 1st birthday. The house was a great size and very clean. Easy to get to and conveniently located.

Perfect Spot for Annapolis Wedding Guests!

Cottage that lives large

It was great. The host met us when we arrived. Very friendly. The whole family was welcoming. The courage was very clean and had all that we needed. There was a great set of play equipment for our granddaughter and our hosts had as granddaughter The same age. The two of them got along great. This was one of the best VRBO experiences yet.
