My husband takes a steelhead fishing trip every year. They were extremely happy with this cabin. The cleanliness, communication, and comfort of this cabin exceeded their expectaions.

Wonderful secluded cabin

Super nice, secluded but not too far, decent road coming in, great water pressure, great internet, nice outdoor space. Will stay again when I'm in the area.

The cabin was extremely clean and had all of the amenities needed for a really enjoyable stay. We were able to focus on relaxing and doing the things we love while making special memories!

Beautiful and Serene Getaway

This was the perfect place to disconnect and relax. The property was incredibly peaceful and borders the National Forest adding to it’s overall level of serenity. I will absolutely be back again!

This is truly a home away from home. It feels like they thought of everything to make your stay as cozy as possibly. We loved it. It was easy to find, check in and stay was explained throughly and we appreciated that. The hiking trail on the property is beautiful in itself and we especially enjoyed morning walks on the trail but the area has lots of parks and trails to adventure too as well. We will definitely be back. THANK YOU!

Beautiful scenery, clean property

This property is extremely clean and well cared for. They have everything you might want, from cornhole to firewood prepared for you. Communication with the owners was very good. The property is beautiful and secluded. We really enjoyed our stay.

Small getaway in the woods

We really enjoyed this cabin in the woods. Lots of yard to play outdoor games, fire pit and trails. Not far from rivers to kayak. The hosts do a great job with this adorable cabin. We will come back every year!

This property is amazing 10 out of 10! A get away from the city was an understatement. Two friends and I went for a girls trip and we could not have asked for more. Star gazing, camp fire and memories. The only thing I wanted was another day or two to stay. GPS wasn’t 100% accurate and the address was hard to spot but that did not take away from the great time we had. Owner was very responsive as well.

Michigan vacation.

The cabin is perfect. Exceptionally clean, had everything we needed. Furniture was extremely comfortable. Sitting on the porch in the evening looking out onto the open area, walking the trail, coffee outside in the morning, all perfect. We did a lot of exploring, playing in the water...Chris is from Michigan, all his family is there. This was a great to see what living in a forest would be like as we are possibly moving there in a year or two. I am sold!!! Thank you for sharing your slice of paradise! Kay and Chris Galloway

Amazing

Place was SO clean, beautiful surroundings and a quiet, very private property. You can run around in the front yard naked without worrying about anyone seeing you. Lol. (We didn’t do that of course… ok maybe we did shhh). Lots of little extra amenities such as blender, coffee cups/filters that just put it over the top. There’s a grill provided, a nice fire pit with wood provided. Aside from food you could almost pack nothing. Bout a 30 min drive from tubing the Muskegon and an hour drive from Lake Michigan beaches. Communication was phenomenal. Oh and for being in the middle of the woods you think you’d have to worry about bugs. Nope. Not ONE spotted inside while we were there aside from a few skeeters that I’m sure we let in ourselves coming in and out. Thanks for a great stay we’ll definitely be back

Goodbye Civilization

The quiet was the first thing i noticed, all that i could hear was the wind in the trees. Just what i wanted. Make sure you bring a jeep or wilderness all wheel drive, the driveway is a little steep with channels from rain run off, a sedan might hit bottom and get stuck. My Google Fi and AT&T phones had weak service but the cabin has wifi.The fire pit was all ready for me, kindling, logs, and i enjoyed the fire the first night. This is a massive fire pit accommodating 6-9 people and is well stocked with everything. A free Smores package was awaiting inside. There is a picnic table in the yard which i began to dislike because it detracted from the beauty of the back yard. I spent a lot of time on the front porch listening to the forest.Inside, its well upgraded with new windows and appliances. Things i missed: washer and dryer, air conditioning, and dishwasher; but its a cabin in the woods and thats okay. I like the electrical outlets, there are many and easy to access. Its small, so expect one side of the bed against a wall. There was plenty of ice in the freezer which i appreciated. The key is in a lock box on a post facing away from the back door, took me a few minutes to find it. I'll go back next year. Its close to a lot of rivers and lakes. The best grocery store is Housemans in White Cloud, a.10 minute drive. If you are into hiking, i suggest Coolbough and Loda Lake.

Fire pit has a great setup with plenty of wood to use. Property very secluded and dirt roads excellent to explore on the ebikes. Close to so many trails and food in the area is also close and good. Would definitely return if in the area again.

Love it

We had such a wonderful time at this perfect little cabin. Definitely planning our next stay. 😉 Check out was a breeze. They take care of everything. I have family in the area so I just needed a bed to sleep in but this cabin was perfect. Super clean and the owners are very responsive if you need them.

Perfect respite in the forest

This cabin more than met our expectations. We stayed for a long weekend. The cabin was perfect! The cabin was super clean and had everything we needed, even an electric kettle! The bed was super comfy with the softest sheets. The property just as described, with hiking and biking trails all around. It really is a magical get away in the forest. Just what the doctor ordered! Great cabin!

We had a great experience at this cabin. It was perfect for our family stay. The cabin was extremely clean and kitchen was well equipped (though we only needed the coffee pot and mugs). Our kids loved the bunkhouse and running around the path around it. Wish we had more time to enjoy the back porch, picnic tables and fire pit! The hot water heater is on the small side which is fine, just be ready to not have 3 people shower in a row. Bryan checked in with us several times to see if we needed anything. We will definitely stay here again!

A balm for your soul

This cabin was perfect! We've been under a lot of stress and we could truly relax here. It was super clean and welcoming. It's in a beautiful setting where we could unwind. We plan to return-it was that nice. It is a hidden gem!
