Newly restored historical cottage near Zion National Park.

Terra Cottage Farm near Zion!
Come stay at our newly restored 1901 farmhouse cottage. The charm of this home is captured in the full restoration using both time period accents and up to date modern amenities. Reclaimed wood flooring and exposed original rock walls recreate the atmosphere of a quieter and simpler time.
Who doesn't love a retro (but brand new) fridge and stove? Cook anything you like or go out to dinner. It's easy with choices all around. Fresh eggs, jam, fruits, and nuts are for your enjoyment when available from our hobby farm.
Both bedrooms feature queen beds and are beautifully decorated. Smart TV's are in both bedrooms as well as in the living room. High speed internet is available of course! A pack-n-play is also available for babies.
Enjoy a private front porch and front yard area. Enjoy the shade of the historic pecan tree. BBQ gas grill is also available for use.
We are located close to Zion National Park (20 minutes), Zion Hot Springs Resort (around the corner on the same block), Sand Hallow Reservoir (10 minutes), Jem Trail for mountain biking (10 minutes). Kolob Reservoir is a beautiful drive just under an hour away. ATV trails are endless in the area, and many more outdoor activities. Plenty of off-street parking available for vehicles. (Please let us know if you need more than 2 parking spaces.)
Play all day and relax here in the quiet town of La Verkin. Davis Foods grocery store, River Rock Roasting Co., and Stagecoach Grill are right in town. (1 mile or less away) Other stores, restaurants, and attractions located nearby in Hurricane (just over 1 mile to many stores and restaurants, 7 miles to Walmart), while St. George is a short 25-minute drive for even more options.

We absolutely loved this cozy home! It's located in a very quiet area that's not too far from the national park entrance, and the nearby hot springs are a great bonus! In the evening, the host's free-roaming chickens came over by the house to drink water, which was super adorable. The place is extremely well-maintained with very new amenities, and we didn't notice any drawbacks at all. Highly recommended!

The cottage was very cute and clean. There were so many little details that made this a great place to stay. You can tell the hosts put a lot of effort into this cottage and that makes all the difference. This is a great place to stay if you're looking to go to Zion National Park!

We loved our stay here. The home is lovely, super quiet, very comfortable to relax in after long days of hiking, and with a well stocked kitchen with several homey touches (fresh eggs, homemade jam and syrup, etc.). We enjoyed reading about the history of the restoration and seeing the results. The house is in a lovely yard with many beautiful plantings and some huge cottonwoods (lots of shade). We would come back again! One of our favorite VRBOs ever.

We had an amazing time in the cottage. It was cozy, beautifully decorated and very clean. The retro kitchen was just perfect and very well stocked. Our kids enjoyed being able to check out the chicken coup next to the owners house. Communication with the host was excellent and we appreciated the snacks and fresh eggs We definitely recommend this place and would love to come back in the future!

Beautifully restored historic home. Well appointed, lovely features, feels like you've stepped into Country Living magazines living room for tea. So comfortable it feels like coming home right down to the blooming flowers, the inviting patio and yard, the adorable chickens and the fresh eggs. The hosts were outstanding

Wow! this restored house was amazing. The kitchen was very well equipped with upscale appliances and furnishings. We appreciated the extra care taken with the restoration and amenities. We also very much enjoyed the Zion Hot Springs !

Cozy Stay at Terra Cottage Farm

We love this VRBO! It's cute, comfortable, and well stocked. It's not too far from Zion, and it was a wonderful place to return to after hours of hiking.

Cottage in LeVerkin Utah

A very charming home to stay in. Hosts are wonderful and left wonderful unexpected treats for us. The home is decorated with charm and so well done. Location is great for hiking in Zion, Bryce and LeVerkin. Best vrbo we have ever stayed in.

Wonderful Stay

I stayed at this property with my sister for a return trip to Zion. It is a lovingly and carefully restored cottage with both period charm and comfort. It was meticulously clean and in an amazing location - abutting a beautiful ridge with a hiking trail and within a 30 min drive to Zion. The owner was very receptive to questions and requests. We would definitely stay here again and next time for more nights!

Thank you Jon. We try our best to make your stay and every stay comfortable. Jon and his wife were perfect guests. They left the house super tidy! They let me know when there was a problem so it could be resolved. I highly recommend renting to Jon and his wife to anyone. We would live to have them stay again!

Perfect House for visiting National Parks

Our stay at the property was amazing. The house is fully stocked with kitchen utensils and very clean. The space is larger than it looks in the pictures and there were no issues. location is perfect for visiting Zion National Park.

This property brought back wonderful memories of our youth, the roaster crowing, the atmosphere and the owners were amazing. The cottage is a so welcoming.

Zion national park

I absolutely loved this property! It was clean tidy and such a quaint beautiful vibe! I would definitely recommend staying here, it’s not far from the park and it was a perfect quiet area to come home too after a day of hiking. I would definitely stay here again. It wasn’t difficult to find and parking was great as well! Thank you again for hosting me. I feel rejuvenated after my stay.

Both Sherman and I grew up in this area. Sherman is from Leeds and I am from St. George. We met at Dixie College in 1986 later got married and raised 5 children. Sherman’s grandparents bought this house in the 60’s and after Sherman graduated from Utah State University we moved into this house in 1992 and bought it from his grandparents. We lived in it for 8 years raising our young family. We out grew this house so Sherman built the country styled home behind it and that is where we live now.

Perché ha scelto questa struttura

Sherman and I both love this aria and have family and relatives in this area. Sherman’s grandparents and great grandparents are some of the original settlers of La Verkin. Sherman always loves to restore old things and after we moved out of the house we were able to spend the time needed to fix and restore this house.

Cosa rende unica questa struttura

This is the oldest original house left in La Verkin. Sherman and I enjoy history and in restoring this house we tried to leave the original time period feel and still add the modern amenities to make it comfortable.
