Days in the mountains are often spent hiking, exploring, and enjoying the outdoors, so many guests choose to relax and have dinner at the cabin. Thank you so much for the wonderful 5-star review! I completely understand that mountain roads can feel a bit adventurous, especially for guests who may not be used to driving in the mountains. The drive is part of what allows Eagles Nest Hideaway to have such breathtaking long-range views and the peaceful privacy that so many guests love once they arrive. We do provide detailed directions prior to arrival and most guests find the drive becomes much easier after the first trip up. I’m so glad you felt the mesmerizing view made it worthwhile! I especially love hearing that this trip was all about slowing down, relaxing, soaking in the hot tub, enjoying the fire pit, and simply taking in the majestic mountain views.
