Guests may need to purchase additional supplies, such as extra paper towels, dish soap, and coffee filters, depending on their needs and length of stay. We appreciate you bringing the bug issue to our attention. These are commonly known as palmetto bugs and are native to Florida. They are attracted to lights and can be more noticeable in the evening, though we understand that encountering them can be unpleasant. For clarification, the lazy river is located on the Bayside of Destin West, while this condo is on the Gulfside. Guests have access to the entire property via the connecting skywalk, including the Bayside pools and lazy river.
