Super cute and cozy cabin right by the water. Very nice and quite area. Super close to all the shops and restaurants. It barely took us 5-10 minutes getting where ever we were going. We went out on the paddleboards and had a great time! Would definitely recommend

Sadly we were there when the smoke was terrible, so couldn't really enjoy the convenience of the lake or use the fire pit. The host was awesome, quick with responses. Cabin was clean with full kitchen and cute enclosed porch. We enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed our quick stay on Houghton Lake as a group of 3 who wanted a weekend away to read and watch the sun rise & set on the lake. It was perfect. The separate docks for each cabin were a fantastic touch!

The room was beautiful and beautifully furnished with everything we needed. If I had one suggestion it was that the walkway that takes us out to our private dock is very wobbly and has no handrails so a couple times I thought I was going to fall in the water lol. Otherwise there is nothing to complain about! Beautiful, beautiful place, we will be back.

Thank you for the wonderful review! We’re so glad you loved the furnishings and setting. Mother Nature gave us exceptionally high water early this season, so having the dock cranked up high on its augers definitely gave it a bit more movement than usual! Rest assured, the dock is anchored securely into the lakebed and routinely checked for safety. We appreciate you sharing your thoughts and hope to see you again soon!

The property was clean and smelled fresh. The kitchen needs a few more items to be stocked. The host was very responsive. The lake was warm, and shallow, great for swimming with the kids. The one back bedroom was warm with the evening sun. You have to use the fans to help circulate the air from the main part of the house. to cool down before bed time.

Houghton Lake Fishing Trip

The cabin was very nice and exactly as described. Location couldn’t have been better we were close to restaurants and groceries and even though the weather kept us off Houghton Lake there were other lakes close by that we were able to fish. Would highly recommend both this cabin and the area itself.

Great vacation

We stayed at this cabin for 10 days, it was perfect. Great clean cabin with plenty to do in the area. The host was wonderful and took great care to make sure that we had all of what we needed to make it enjoyable.

Great Cottage

This place was great! Right on the water and perfect for our small group of guys hitting the lake for some ice fishing. David was awesome to work and we enjoyed our stay.

Peace and quiet

It was very neat, clean. We didnt eat in. Just coffee in morning. Three seniors lady enjoying the cottage. The little porch was so cute. Good place to read. Really a nice get away.

Houghton Lake getaway

Easy to get to right in town. Good parking for truck, boat and car. Owner Dave went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. Will definitely be back if we are able next year.
