The hosts were amazing to work with! The property was right on the beach. The house was always cool with the three air conditioners. Kitchen was lovely, bedrooms were comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!

Great view, water hose upstairs to rinse off from the beach, ac was cold, beds were comfortable, walking distance from a restaurant. Our new favorite place.

We had a wonderful time. The home is right on the beach. Parking was a bit difficult at first, but only because the sand was super fluffy and we couldn’t park under the house. It was clean, everything works, and no need to pack anything to go to beach. Just walk back (short walk) for what you need. I recommend!

Perfect beach getaway!

Right on the beach, either sit on the porch or pull the chairs right by the ocean, it was exactly what I wanted!

Great location and great host. Very responsive to any concerns. Close to everything you need for a quiet relaxing weekend. Wake up to the sound of the waves.

Beach House

Location amazing! Beach front with views and sand of our own. Home is rough though, with limited space, bathroom and AC amenities. However, landlord will do their best to accommodate needs and provide adequate assistance!

Ocean Front

You can't get more ocean front than this! The location was great; just take note there is a restaurant close by that has live music on Friday/Saturday nights. The kitchen had all the utensils and appliances we needed. The deck is large and spacious as well. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a cozy place to stay in Surfside!

Weekend stay

We stayed for a long weekend. Location is excellent with direct access to the beach. The house was clean, but there were quite a few bugs in the kitchen (which improved after spraying). I presume that is related to the beach location. AC was functional. Management was very responsive. We would definitely stay again in the future.

You can't get any closer to the beach than this. It was as described. A/C was on and felt good inside. There is no grill but that question was answered before we left and we were prepared. The kitchen had plenty of utensils. Fridge was clean. There were to nice lounge chairs on the giant patio, a picnic table and some hi-stools, to sit and look at the ocean view. The inside was clean and easy to sweep. If you park on the beach side you can pay to drive on and your vehicle is right at the house. This is not one the brand new "faux" luxury ticky tacky beach houses. It is one of the survivors and makes going to the shore super easy...we watched people dragging all their stuff to the water and we just went down the steps and back up if we needed something. There was a spray hose on the deck to wash the sand off when you were done. Honestly, at the peak busy times, we spent most of our time watching the waves from the deck. It was our favorite part of the stay and we would book again. We have stayed in quite a few places in the area and this was great access.

Great location

The property was conveniently located on the beach, which made long days at the beach much more enjoyable (especially with small children). The least convenient part was parking - no matter where you park, you’re going to have to trudge through sand before you get to your car. When you have kids, or a lot of things to unload from your car, it’s not ideal but being so close to the beach made it worth it. The house itself was clean, but I couldn’t get the drip coffee maker to brew coffee. I think a Keurig is much more convenient for guests though I know everyone has different preferences. Overall we had a great stay and the property owner was helpful/responsive. I recommend this property to other families looking to stay on the beach.

Step on to the beach

We had a great time! Loved the deck, beach was just steps away! Thank you for having a kerig coffee maker! We would ask is hose/ shower on deck and more towels, 4 is just not enough.... but most appreciated was the Charmin toilet paper, lol, I hate the cheap stuff! Thank you again for sharing your home for us to make special memories! The internet sadly, we could not get to work but we were not there for that so it was OK. Hubs says the shower curtain needs something.... more weight to hold it in or magnet snaps... water went everywhere lol. Those are all small things, we had a WONDERFUL TIME!

Wasnt to bad. Could have been better

Although the location was good and the view was beautiful there were some downsides to our stay. When we arrived and got inside of the house it was so hot you could barly breath. There is not central air but there were 3 portable air conditioners we turned on. We had stay outside until the house cooled. Even with all three air conditioners (and keeping all doors shut) the living room still never really cooled down much and the bathroom was unbarably hot the entire trip. The kitched water had a horrible smell we thought maybe it was the whole area but the bathroom sink didnt have that bad of a smell. The owners were not very responsive to the questions and concerns we had. Over all we had a good time dispite the inconveniences.

**Update: We have upgraded our Air conditioning systems from window units to top of the line split ACs.** Kalee, I apologize for the unpleasant experience you had during your stay. I believed I had assisted you when you reported that the ACs were blowing hot air. I had instructed you to adjust the settings to cool, as another guest had mistakenly done the same due to the touch panel controls. After a couple of hours, your inquiry about fishing in the area led me to assume that the ACs were functioning correctly and you were satisfied. We had also communicated about the dryer that time if I remember right. I am truly sorry to hear about the water odor issue that you mentioned. This is the first instance I am being made aware of it, and I will definitely investigate the matter. The water source is connected to the city of Surfside, and it is the same line that supplies the entire house. I will also bring this matter to the attention of the city authorities for further investigation. I deeply regret not being able to promptly respond to your inquiries about the cable TV as it was after 10pm. Unfortunately, I had an unexpected travel that night, preventing me from addressing your questions right away. I hope for the opportunity to make it up to you during your next visit. Your patronage is greatly appreciated, and I sincerely hope you will consider staying with us again. Thank you for choosing our property for your stay.

I won't be able stay again because I am elderly and have trouble with stairs. I wish there was a ramp. If there was, I'd definitely come back

Cozy little house

House was nice and cozy with an amazing view. The beach was loud and busy that weekend but is not fault of the owner. May just need just stay on the weekdays for our next visit.

Location, Location, LOCATION!

Such a quaint beach house perfect for my little family… we have two boys ages 4 and 5. We felt spoiled with our short walk to and from the house when ever we needed something on the beach or to get some shade. The house was clean and had everything we needed. We spent most of our time on the gorgeous deck - wow!!

Perfect location!

Great cozy house just steps to the water The house has a fully stocked kitchen and appliances, even though we only used the microwave since there is a restaurant in walking distance. We had absolutely no issues checking in or out. The owner/management is great and very responsive. We will definitely book again!
