Great Stay!

We really enoyed our stay! We used the beach club, fitness center, and various amenities throughout the home. The home was set up nicely and was very comfortable and well apportioned. We had a wonderful stay!

A gorgeous oasis

Surrounded by beautiful flowers, song birds, and quiet. The beach club is ideal for snorkeling and swimming.

Nanc was a wonderful guest. She was very communicative and let us know immediately about several issues with the condo. We quickly deployed our handyman who remedied all situations immediately. I’m confident she was an excellent steward of the property and that she obeyed the house rules. She is welcome back anytime.

Wonderful time at Palm Villas

Overall we had a wonderful time in this condo. The fitness center access was key, as was the beach club. The condo was stocked with everything we could need for our vacation and was very well maintained. We love staying on the property of the Mauna Lani with the fish ponds and walking paths, and the golf courses are great.

Paradise

Everything was perfect! Owners were extremely responsive and helpful; loved the recommendations for food and sites to see. The condo was extremely well equipped and the perfect location for what we wanted. We will be booking again!

Great location

We loved the location and all the amenities. The walk to the beach through the fish ponds was a daily must. My husband rode his bike most days and I utilized the gym. The owners were easy to work with. Very clean place and a comfortable bed.

Family reunion

This property was exceptionally clean and comfortable, everything in great condition. The condo association has some stiff rules ( no drying pool towels outside on the lanai), but the residence was very quiet and friendly.

The condo was perfect, very clean, exceptionally well stocked kitchen and a lovely lanai where we enjoyed our morning coffee. It’s located a walking distance to a wonderful private beach. Gregory is a perfect host and we very much appreciated all the info he provided about local eateries and places to visit. Only one complaint, wish we could have stayed longer………

Great location and amenities!

Airy and comfortable condo outfitted with everything you need. Full kitchen, pool and beach access, garage space, in addition to beach items, bathroom and kitchen basics. I was in town for a conference at the Fairmont and this was a 20-25min walk or several minute drive away. Less than 30 minute drive to Waimea for great food in the evenings, and we had awesome recommendations from Greg and Jeff, who are friendly and responsive hosts!!

Beautiful Palm Villas

We had an excellent Hawaii vacation at Palm Villas. The location was perfect for our family reunion. (Our children and grandkids stayed at a larger unit across the street) Our condo and the grounds were exactly as depicted. The pool is beautiful and close by. The condo was wonderfully decorated, spotlessly clean, and well equipped. Our hosts, Greg and Jeff, were attentive and welcoming thru the whole process.

Great spot - Attentive Owners

I rented the unit for some friends, so while I saw the until, I did not actually stay there. It's clean, well equipped and a great central location on the resort. Gregory and Jeff are great hosts. Always got right back to me with answers and tried to help wherever they could. They know the Island well and have many great recommendations. We'd certainly use this space again.

Very clean. Supplies needed were all there. Instructions were clear on how to use all appliances, etc. The only suggestion I have is to leave on the outside light so that arriving at night we could see the lock and where it was.

A Private Oasis

Our stay was perfect! Greg and Jeff’s condo was beautifully furnished and well kept. They were very responsive to any questions we had and always very friendly and informative. The Palm Villas was quiet and beautiful. There were times we had the pool all to ourselves. On our first night there a neighbour brought us some fresh fruit from the trees growing on the property. Having access to the beach club and the fitness centre was an added bonus. We loved every moment and would not hesitate to rebook!

Great condo and very well stocked and equipped with everything you need.

The property and location are PERFECT!!! We LOVED having access to the fitness center and played LOTS of pickle ball. Some furnishings could be upgraded due to lots of wear, as well as one of the single mattresses. However, honestly, it was all still great!!! The cleaning crew could get in the corners/along floor trim a bit better but again, it did not take away from a GREAT, GREAT, GREAT day. Gregg was GREAT to communicate with!!!

A joy to return

What a joy it was to return to Hale Malino this year. Honestly, I don’t know how it could be better than my first experience, but the hosts have been busy adding more and more thoughtful touches and upgrades. The tv is even bigger, and the fitness center membership was really easy to use and fun. Everything was spotless, well-organized, and we lacked for nothing. The kitchen is so well stocked, and I appreciated the spices and fresh, well curated condiments. It saved money, made it fun to cook, and reduced food waste. The hosts are welcoming, kind, and very responsive, and their communication is top notch. Mahalo!

An amazing place to stay while exploring an amazing place!

We cannot say enough good things about this property. It was above our expectations and everything was perfect. The place made us feel at home with all the comforts and then some. We felt special staying there, and felt lucky to be able call it home for a few days. Not only is the condo perfect, the grounds and the common areas are just as nice. The pool area was amazing, with the rocks and water falls. Also having access to the fitness centre was an unexpected perk. We had access to the Pickle Ball and tennis courts and made the most of it one evening. The exclusive beach club was also unexpected. A beautiful beach on a calm bay with snorkeling and swimming in the warm water. The restaurant there was delicious and the drinks were incredible (get the Pina Colada with the dark rum pour over! But you may not be able to get out of your beach chair after!!) If you are thinking about renting this place, do not hesitate, it made for a truly spectacular vacation to the Big Island and we hope to be back again one day!

Standout Mauna Lani Rental

This was our 12th time renting a condo at Mauna Lani, and the personal attention of the owners of this unit set it apart from the rest. The condo itself is wonderfully comfortable - the beds, fully stocked kitchen with abundant dishes and flatware (some rentals have just 6 of each), crisp and soft sheets, a garage stocked with every item needed at the beach (we've stayed in some with just a single frayed beach chair and nothing else), an impressively large living room TV that was easy to use - plus TVs in both bedrooms, an Amazon Echo for music, an honor bar, every supply needed, and a tremendous library. Access to the Auberge fitness center is a big bonus that most rentals don't have. The condo was very clean. The owners' binder is the best of any rental we've stayed in, with photos and detailed descriptions about restaurants and things to do and see, in addition to clear instructions about all aspects of the condo. The owners clearly care about their rental, and it reflects in the guest experience. Thank you! We hope to return.

Attention to detail in a gorgeous setting

You can stop surfing now and just book this unit in the Palm Villas. The location, the hosts, and the attention to detail make this unit a perfect spot. This spotlessly clean modern first-floor unit is a 20 minute walk from a gorgeous beach or a quick drive. The lush landscaping makes it feel like you are the only ones in the area, even though the pool and fitness center are steps away. The decor is modern, and all of the furniture is comfortable. And there are books! From helpful travel guides to multiple field guides (everything from trees to fish) in which you can learn more about the island and what you see. Like to cook? The lanai has a fan, light, and modern gas grill. The kitchen is stocked with all manner of cookware and barware, and the fridge and pantry have a thoughtfully curated selection of basics, condiments, and spices. Nothing expired here. It's one of the best stocked VRBOs I've stayed in (soy sauce, kewpie mayo, plenty of Ziplocs, a tea ball, and more and more and more) The hosts genuinely care about the guests' experience and are very communicative and organized. It felt like staying in the home of a friend, and I cannot wait to go back.

This rental was immaculately clean, beautifully decorated and so perfectly located to the beach/shopping/dining! Gregory was always available and beyond helpful during our stay. We loved everything about our stay here and are incredibly grateful for such kind hosts!

Best Rental Ever

Gregory has created a superb condo and vacation experience at the Palm Villas. Everything exceeded our expectations. Beds and linens were comfortable, kitchen was more than well stocked, if you end up watching TV even though you should be enjoying Hawaii like we did--the World Cup was happening!--the little living room space has a giant new TV and cozy coach and chair. ALL supplies are stocked with backups ready and waiting should you run out. The internet was fast enough for both my husband and I to work, including video meetings. It has a secluded lanai and great BBQ, and to top it all off, a well stocked bar! A lot of love and thought went into this rental and you can tell. Gregory has also put together a helpful guidebook that's informative and hilarious. I will admit I took pictures of it so I could refer back to it after we left. The placement of his unit within the Plam Villas complex, we thought, was the best, surrounded by quiet gardens vs a window into your neighbors place. The Palm Villas itself is a cute, smaller, well-maintained complex, across the street from the Mauna Lani fitness club, for which Gregory provides free guest passes. They have a 25 meter pool, workout facility and tennis and pickleball courts. Need I say more? We will for sure be returning! Thank you!

Lovely place to stay

This was my second time to stay here. It is such a calm peaceful setting. Condo has everything one could ever need, owner very responsive, access to quiet beach and fitness center. Only downside is the small pool but hot tub is great after a dip in the pool's cold water. I would go back again.
