Christie was incredibly kind and helpful. She went out of her way to bring toys for our kids to play with, which was so thoughtful and sweet. This was a very nice house and super clean. Thank you for hosting us!

Beautiful view. Right on the bay. Breakfast provided. Comfortable. Clean. Walkable to restaurants. Good location outside the hustle and bustle of Bar Harbor. Great access to Acadia national Park. WE WOULD STAY THERE AGAIN.

We had a lovely stay and Christy was available for questions. The property is beautiful and parking is available and easy to manage. We loved the coffee shop that was only a minute walk. Thank you!

Definitely Whales Tale cottage was the perfect choice! Close to all but on the quieter side of things! Cottage was immaculate upon arrival, host was exceptional! Questions regarding our trip, suggestions were responded to very fast and helpful! Would definitely recommend it to anyone interested in a Maine vacation

Southwest Harbor Getaway

This place was amazing. The property owner was very easy to get in contact with when we needed something. This was also the perfect location to get away from the busyness of Bar Harbor yet have access to all the activities!

We had a wonderful time staying at Whale's Tail guest cottage. Location is great, walking distance to downtown Southwest Harbor and overall access to MDI was fantastic. The owner was extremely responsive and helpful and clearly wanted us to have the best possible stay. We can't wait to re-book with an even larger group!

Great Home Base for Acadia activities

The Whale’s Tail is a clean, comfortable home away from home for couples or small family groups. The bed ( we used downstairs only) was comfortable and we had a wonderful time!

Loved this cottage! The only minor drawback was the construction project right next door, obscuring an otherwise beautiful view of the harbor. But the host and the property itself were lovely!

This home was bigger than it looked in the photos! It’s definitely quant but the homeowner makes such amazing use of the space that you have everything you need and don’t feel cramped! The location is also perfect. It’s right on the water and only 20 mins from bar harbor and there’s plenty of restaurants nearby! It’s absolutely gorgeous in that area and we would love to come back someday!

Cute cottage with great outdoor cooking

We enjoyed our stay, especially the walking distance to town and many outdoor activities. The cottage is snug, clean and nicely decorated. The outdoor kitchen was a huge plus.

Amazing Location

This cottage is the perfect location on the "quiet side" of this area. Walkable to town, buses available to all attractions, amazing view and fitted out with everything we needed for a wonderful visit to the Bar Harbor area!!
