This place was amazing. Great views of the sunset and a short drive or walk to the beach and town. My kids loved the pool and having their own space. Deck was also a great place to view the surrounding wildlife. Owner was also very communicative and easy to get ahold of with any questions. A/C in every room to cool off when needed. All the amenities you need. Just bring what you want to eat and drink. 5 stars for the house and the location.

Well maintained property within the canopy of the jungle. House was well organized with all the essentials. Lots of privacy for guests.

Perfect Pavones

Our stay in Pavones was perfect and exactly what our family of 5 were looking for! The house made the trip! All the rooms have air conditioners (which isn’t always available), is a short walk to the beach, close to the small town, and is quiet. From the deck, you can see animals (monkeys, macaws,and toucans) while enjoying your coffee. A perfect paradise.

Beautiful home and amazing views

A beautiful and comfortable home in an incredible location with stunning views of the ocean and canopy. We could watch monkeys, toucans, and other wildlife from the patio. The perfect home base for our family to stay and explore the surrounding communities of Pavones and Punta Banco. We enjoyed surfing, snorkeling, hiking, massages, chocolate-making, dinner with a private chef, visiting the local indigenous communities, and more.

Outstanding Experience

Our stay at this rental property was nothing short of spectacular! The breathtaking views, pristine cleanliness, and ample supplies exceeded our expectations. Deborah, the property manager, was always available if we had questions and her assistance in arranging a chef, a driver, and excursions added a luxurious touch to our experience. Kate's prompt and accommodating responses were appreciated. This beautiful retreat matched the pictures precisely—an awe-inspiring getaway. Highly recommend!

Great Family Gathering Accommodation

La Verandah is a very well equipped and well-designed rental property that worked well for multi-generational family reunion. The main house and side bedrooms were all clean. The kitchen was particularly well equipped with sophisticated brands of appliances, including Viking and Cuisinart. Our only real challenge was that the weather was so hot every day, but that seems the usual for the month of March. Both the Property Manager Kate and House Manager Deborah were very helpful and quick on their responses to us.

We absolutely loved our stay at this three-bedroom home in Pavones and would book it again in a heartbeat. It’s one of those places that just feels easy and comfortable from the moment you arrive. The fact that there is teak absolutely everywhere gives the place a very warm and inviting atmosphere.The kitchen was huge and had most everything we needed (loved the espresso machine!), which made it simple to cook at home and enjoy meals in the casa. The outside areas are where this place really shines. The pool was incredibly clear and clean, and we spent a ton of time in and around it. There’s comfy outdoor furniture everywhere, so whether you want to lounge by the pool, sit with a coffee in the morning, or relax in the evening and take in the view, there’s always a perfect spot. Watching the sunset from the deck is killer.The WI-Fi is rock solid, fast, and works throughout the whole property.The views are beautiful and you really feel surrounded by nature. We saw lots of wildlife right in the yard every day—birds, monkeys, and other animals (see photos) —which was a huge bonus and made our stay feel very “Pavones.” Inside, the house stays cool thanks to several AC units, which was much appreciated after hot days outside, and which made sleeping very comfortable.The host was fantastic and super responsive. Any questions we had were answered quickly and clearly. Overall, this was an amazing place to stay.Highly recommended.
