Excellent property for family getaway. On the lake, yet private. House generously stocked with everything you might need (within reason). Enough room for everyone to spread out, or gather. Owner responded within the hour after inquiries. We will definitely be going back. Highly recommend this property.

Non mi è piaciuto: Pulizia
The floors through out the whole house needed to be mopped. The bottom of all of our guests feet and socks were very dark from the dirty floors on the first evening from walking around inside the house. The stairs needed to be vacuumed because they had pieces of leaves on many of them. Also the house needs some maintenance such as the kitchen pantry door is hard to open and close, the short drawers under the kitchen sink didn't want to stay closed. The sliding door on the main level is difficult to close and lock. The front door is also hard to lock when leaving the house. The guest commode on the main level needs some maintenance, the water wants to run continually, the handle needs adjusting. Two of the bedrooms TV's didn't work, the downstairs next to the living room, and the main level guest room. Other than that, the house has plenty of sleeping space and the beds are comfortable.

Thank you for your feedback. We sincerely apologize that your stay did not meet expectations. While this is certainly not representative of the experience our guests typically have, as reflected in our other reviews and ratings, we take your concerns seriously. I do wish you had responded to the messages I sent during your stay checking-in to see how everything was going and whether you were enjoying the house. Had we known you were experiencing these issues, we absolutely would have done everything possible to address them during your visit. We appreciate you bringing these matters to our attention and will be working to address the maintenance and housekeeping concerns you mentioned. We want every guest to have a comfortable and enjoyable stay, and we are sorry we fell short of that for you.

The host was very nice and welcoming. The house was very nice. Two of the bedrooms had cobwebs on the ceiling (the basement rooms). The VRBO/AIR B&B that we’ve stayed at in the past had shower soap and shampoo but there was none so had to find stores to purchase that. It was a pleasant stay.

Thank you so much for your kind words and for staying with us. We are really glad to hear you found the home nice and had a pleasant stay overall. We appreciate you letting us know about the cobwebs in the basement bedrooms. We apologize for that oversight and will make sure it is addressed so future guests have an even better experience. Regarding the shower soap and shampoo, we did have several bottles available at the time you messaged and asked, and I am sorry if they were not easy to find. If you had reached out again, I would have been more than happy to help right away. We will make this clearer for future guests so there is no confusion. Thank you again for your feedback. It truly helps us improve, and we would love the opportunity to host you again in the future!
