This house was as advertised…..a great gathering spot for our sibling reunion. Good spaces for gathering together for conversations, and plenty of activities. It was nice and private, and quiet. The view of the golf course was obscured by a lot of undergrowth and the property would benefit from a general trimming up of the surrounding vegetation.

One of the best houses in The Galena Territory

Can't say enough about this property and the responsiveness of the owner. Great location, tons of things to do on site, both indoors and outdoors and plenty of room for even the largest of groups. If you are looking to maximize a Galena getaway then definitely consider this house!

My family of my wife and five kids with significant others, total of 11 people had a wonderful Labor Day weekend at this house. We enjoyed the open floor plan, the pickle ball court, hot tub, and outside patio. It was really nice gathering together for 3 days and hanging out. Would recommend this property.

This house was truly exceptional! Our women’s group, WITW, have rented many homes over the 32 years we’ve been getting together, and this is the first one where we can honestly say every detail was covered. The beds were incredibly comfortable, the pillows were great (and plentiful), and the kitchen was fully stocked—not just with dishes and utensils, but even a wide variety of spices we hadn’t even thought to bring. The neighborhood was peaceful and absolutely beautiful, which made the stay even more enjoyable. On top of that, working with the owners was seamless—they were easygoing, responsive, and provided clear, straightforward guidance. We had zero complaints. I would highly recommend this home to any group looking for a place where accommodations are one less thing to worry about. It was truly perfect!

Our second stay

We again had a great time at this property. The space accommodates our family perfectly. The theater room was a new addition since our last stay and that was fun. Since the weather cooperated, we spent time at the pool & splash pad at the owners club. It's a great home.

Gorgeous home!

This house was absolutely perfect for our family. Plenty of beds and bathrooms made our stay so comfortable. The views from the living room were amazing with lots of wildlife to watch. Every possible need was provided for, from umbrellas and baby furniture to the well-stocked kitchen which made our meal prep fun vs frustrating! We have stayed in many VRBOs and can say that this one tops our list!

2024 Fall Ladies Weekend

We found the home to be extremely comfortable and accommodating. The owner (Kyle) was quick to respond to questions and thought of just about all the conveniences you’d need. We really appreciated all of it. We will definitely look at staying here in the future.

End of Summer Getaway

This property was simply amazing. The home had places for our entire group to gather or find a quiet place to read or nap. The basement game room was perfect for the kids to be kids and not disturb the entire house. The kitchen was well stocked and there was plently of very comfortable beds. Bravo for a beautiful house and host!

Wonderful Family Retreat!

I would highly recommend this property. It exceeded our expectations and was the perfect home for our stay. There were many activities on site to keep our tween and teen boys busy all day. The owner has thought of every amenity one could want or need and there was plenty of space for everyone. The location is beautiful and so peaceful we didn’t want to leave. The owner answered my questions immediately and I would not hesitate to book this property again.

Another Great Stay!

This was our second stay at this property. It is the perfect place for our family of teens to older adults. Everyone has their own area of the house to retreat to. The new theater room was a huge hit plus all the games in the lower level keeps everyone as busy as they care to be. This property has everything a group or family could possibly want or need. We are already talking about our next year’s family vacation. Thanks so much Kyle for providing us with such a perfect place to stay!

The property owner went above and beyond to help make our stay safe when the weather was not our friend. He got ahold of the company they use for snow removal to came back out and put salt down as the driveway was extremely slippery. This helped releave a lot of stress as we were there for our daughter's wedding on Sunday so didn't want any accidents prior to the day. This house made our daughter's wedding weekend so enjoyable. Both families were able to stay there on Friday night and put the finishing touches on the wedding plans for Sunday. It was the perfect space to for the rehersal super. The house was beautiful and we have talked about renting it again in the spring/fall to just enjoy a weekend of relaxing. Kimberly

2nd Time Here and I'm sure we'll book again

Perfect spot for 3 families of 4 for the weekend. 2nd time we have booked this property and the additions of the video games in the basement were a hit with the teenage kids (and a few adults). We all had a great time. The place is well stocked with all the pans, dishes, etc you could need as well as a bunch of spices in case you forget any. Only recommendation I'd have is to replace the grill burners as they are worn and it really flares up in spots. I'm sure we will be back!!

Family Get Away

This home is beautiful and spacious with lots to do right within the home and in the surrounding area. The kitchen is well equipped. We used it alot because we like to cook our own meals. The game room and theater room were great for family time. It was a bit hot while were there so we didn't do much with the fun outdoor activities but the club pool was a hit for cooling off. The house was very clean and beds were comfy..Our family loved gathering here! Our host, Kyle, was quick to respond to any questions or needs that we had.

Another Fabulous Experience!

This is the second time we have stayed at this beautiful home, since we enjoyed it so much the first time. We were a group of 12 family and friends, ranging from 14 years old to 82. There is ample room for people to spread out, a game room that the teens enjoyed for ping pong, and this year we also ventured out onto the pickleball court. We highly recommend this property (as long as you don't book it for the weekends we want it for!) :)
