The property was as listed, each bedroom had a different theme, which I thought was really smart. The beds were comfortable and there were emergency phone numbers posted on each floor along with first aid kits and fire extinguishers. The pool area was really nice as there was a bar area and chairs that you could just lounge with your friends and family. The area is nice and quiet and the views are absolutely gorgeous especially at night time from the rooftop. The apartment downstairs was not rented so the host was kind enough to open the bigger kitchen area as well as the downstairs area for us to enjoy as well. Responses from the host was immediate or within a couple hours.We absolutely enjoyed our stay and would tell you that staying at VilaMarissa is definitely worth the stay!

so beautiful! Our family is originally from the area & it’s so nice coming back and seeing so many beautiful and spacious villas. This one was especially a fan favorite! Would definitely be coming back.

Great villa

Awesome villa and great staff. However, if this villa is to see more people the pricing is a bit overrated. Try to create all inclusive package to lore more customers. But Sherse and Ms V are the most extraordinary staff and I hope they are being compensated well. They make the overpricing well worth it to a point. You get more with honey than with lime. Overall rating 10 though .

Nice & big

I loved the size and layout of the property. Owner (Nadine) & property manager (Verona) was easy to work with. The furnishings fits the style of the home and was modestly furnished. The location of the Villa is a short walk to the beach and the area is quiet and sleepy. Suggestions is to spray for mosquitoes: There were some fat mosquitoes in the rooms. Additionally, fix the bathroom latch: one of the bathroom door didn’t have a lock/latch. I think the property was a little pricey but served my parties needs.

Great property, challenging communication

The property is great and as advertised. Rooms and Rooftop are a highlight. beautiful views and breeze. Minutes from the beach. There were a couple hiccups that affected our stay including an all day power outage, which unfortunately also resulted in water outage which was challenging. We had less than an hours notice to prepare. There was house staff that showed up unexpectedly to the property. They were nice, but it was uncomfortable having unexpected people in and out of the home. Communication with the guests that staff would be onsite and when would have been much appreciated.

Greetings Zainad Though we feel bad and apologize for the power outage it was outside our control. The lanterns we provided and constant communication with the power company was the best we could do . We are sorry that our staff coming in made you uncomfortable. Our property is listed that it comes with full-time staff. Housekeeping & Pool Cleaning (daily). Our guest that requires more privacy usually ask not to send in daily housekeeping and we would schedule housekeeping to fit there needs. It can also make our staff uncomfortable feeling that their job is unappreciated, so it’s best if our guest request Not to have these services. We appreciate you staying with us and we are looking forward to hosting you again! Nadine
