Great place at a reasonable price. Kids had a blast exploring the property and even caught a few crappie off the dock. Memorable trip and would highly recommend staying here.

The hosts were wonderful. The cottage was great, had everything we needed, plus very accommodating for our 2 dogs. The property was great for walks.

Great Get Away

Cabin by a pond

Definitely worth it!

If you're looking to get away, relax, and fish, this is the spot to go. Its quiet, and so relaxing, especially in the mornings drinking coffee out on the deck. I absolutely recommend!

Best Birthday Bass Fishing!

I highly recommend staying at Sweet Dove! It was my husband’s birthday week and we had a great time fishing on the property and Lake Fork. The cottage was immaculate and the owner was very helpful. We plan to stay there again in the future.

Weekend getaway

This is one of the most relaxing places on earth. Very clean and safe. Beautiful view of the pond. We were able to decompress from life’s hectic schedule and just relax. The best of medicine!!!!Thank you Shane, we will be back.

We had a very good time staying here for the Big Bass Splash. The host was very helpful and took very good care of all our needs. The little Cottage is set up perfect for 2 people but we were comfortable with 4 as well. Very nice relaxing and visiting on the deck overlooking the pond. Thanks again Shane for a very good stay. See ya’ll again next year or before probably!

We absolutely loved the property !!! Met all of our expectations!! Stayed bc we drove to a baptism revival in Willis Point 25 minutes away! Used the property to walk also walk everyday morning and evening!!! Absolutely Beautiful!! And loved sitting on back porch to drink coffee early morning to watch the sun rise !! Own of property so very kind and helpful !!!

This is a great place to stay if you are fishing Fork or Cedar Creek! Enough space to park a boat & I knew my boat would be safe here! Clean house and friendly host.

A very nice and very quite get away. Accommodations are well appointed but bring ice. The refrigerator is new but not hooked up to water. The water is very soft I believe they use a water softener system. I beautiful 8 acre pond/lake with several docks to sit at or fish from.Id use minnows even though I did catch a few on lures. The water is stained black clear so light penetration will diminish after a few feet. Colors in the red yellow orange chartreuse spectrum work best. You can walk around the entire lake. There is one BBQ grill so plan your outdoor cooking as others may beat you to it. Best to keep your dog on a leash. There are other critters out there and pick up all poop your pooch leaves behind . The CABIN has a ramp but also two sets of stairs so be mindful if you have trouble getting up and down stairs. The whole place is beautifully maintained a huge undertaking for the two owners. Help keep trash picked up and wash your dishes. We help stripping the beds so they don’t have so much work to do.
