This property was amazing! It was big enough for our group. The kids enjoyed the basement play area. The family enjoyed lake and the pontoon. There is a large kitchen area that everyone was able to spend time in. I cannot see enough good things. We loved our stay! It was a great host and communicated very well.

The house was very nice and the yard and dock what we needed. We wish the pontoon had a canopy for sun protection but otherwise it was a nice amenity.

The Property is clean and beautiful. Having access to the lake is the best part. Lisa ensured our stay was comfortable and pleasant. She was very communicative. Water heater broke during our stay and she ensured to get it replaced in record time.she remained in touch to provide updates.

The home was very spacious and in a good location. Lots of areas for the family to spread out, sit, talk, do puzzles, TV room, kids loved the play rooms! Lots of games to play. We stayed during the winter so also enjoyed walking and skating on the lake. Summer would be great for fishing and water activities! Thank you for sharing the home for some great family time!

Great property for an extended family gathering. Very comfortable bedrooms, gorgeous great room, loved the kitchen area for group meals, and lots of inside and outside seating. Our group loved the lake, pontoon rides, fishing and swimming. We would highly recommend this property to others. Larry Nicol

Family Getaway

This place worked perfectly for our family getaway for large group size. It had separate living areas so the kids could do their things like play video games. The kitchen was pretty well stocked with a variety of kitchen appliances and items to feed the large group.

Great for Family Fun

Tess was a very helpful in everything. The property had lots of fun activities to do. Yes, the lake by the place has lilypads and cattails, but we took the pontoon out a short distance and was able to swim in a very clean lake. Our family enjoyed their stay and will be back!

Our Family loved it and want to come back. Great for a large family with lots of kids ages 1-16.

I was disappointed in the beach area for the little ones. We just set up some water toys in the huge back yard and they had a great time. We will definitely be back.

Very nice but needs some upkeep. The owner was very nice and accommodating to our group. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much and would recommended.

AWESOME VACATION

Our stay was awesome! The mansion was very adequate for our family, With beds for all. The kitchen was spacious with plenty of room for all of us. The games provided like foosball, shuffleboard, etc. were so much fun, The pontoon and the lake were great. The area for children in the basement is awesome❣️❣️❣️ The Mansion So clean and comfortable. We will come again.

50th anniversary

We rented this home to accommodate our family for our 50th anniversary. Our grandchildren range from 9 months to age 17. Family of 22 stayed here and it great!! Well stocked kitchen and many areas to spread out and not feel cramped. Had a awesome time recommend if your looking for a beautiful home👍

Elysian Lake House

The house was wonderful.We had nice bedrooms and baths and the cabana gave us extra room that we needed. The great grandchildren loved the playroom downstairs.The kitchen had plenty of room to cook our meals and there were plenty of utensils to use. Our only suggestion would be for a large dining table and chairs to sit at comfortably to eat meals together and for playing cards and boardgames in the main kitchen.

Our group stayed for an extended weekend, All adults and friends for 30 years. The house met our expectations with spacious bedrooms in each room. The kitchen was well-stocked with a variety of extra appliances. The large island was great for a large group to sit around, with the extra counter space for copious amounts of food! We did not have any small children, but this house would have it all for families. For the adults, the pool table, air hockey table, foosball table, and Shuffleboard table provided fun for our group the entire weekend. We utilized the extras the house provided, including a basket of sunglasses, on the one day it was sunny during our winter getaway. In the city of Elysian was a nice bar to grab a drink and play bags. The three separate lounge areas were wonderful to relax at different times and provided space for multiple people.

Family reunion

This house is beautiful, needs a lot of maintenance. No beach. Needs a really good cleaning. Plenty of space for family (15 of us). Yard was nice with outdoor games.

Hi Edward, in the pictures of the house listing there are recent pictures of the "beach" and some reviews that also comment on the lack of beach. Weed removal is not permitted due to wildlife! You also could've looked at the pictures. I also have professional cleaners come in every week to clean the house before guests stay and I have never heard someone complain like you. I was called on a Saturday night while on vacation because the pontoon would not start. I sent my son over to try and get it going and he arrived at 6 A.M. the next morning. He was unable to fix it because the keys were not left for him. He put the charger on it but with out keys was unable to do much more. When I called to see if charging had fixed the problem they said no so I headed home to try and get it going for them. Once arriving on the property I was greeted with two women that were extremely rude and wanted to walk around the property picking things apart. They were very insignificant things to be complaining about. I felt as if they were looking for a discount. We were able to get the pontoon going for them that afternoon. I also noticed you guys found a way into places of the house that were clearly locked and blocked off. The guests were rummaging through my personal items in the garage and even took out my families personal floatie for the lake. Last but not least, there was a very large brown stain on the master bedroom comforter that my cleaners assume has human feces. For the inconvenience of the pontoon not working for one day I decided to reimburse half of the pontoon rental fee which was $400 for their inconvenience. I don't think anything I could've done would have made your stay better.

Fun and Games at the Elysian Mansion

Our group gathered from North Dakota, Idaho, Ohio, Texas and Minnesota. There were comfortable beds for everyone, great gathering spaces for all and so many nooks and crannies if you wanted a minute alone. The playrooms were a definite hit with the littles; and the shuffleboard, pool and air hockey were a hit with the bigs. The property owner, Lisa, was so accommodating and great to work with. We highly recommend this property.
