I felt the price was a little high as it lacked some basic amenities. The pictures of the residence is misleading. Pillows were flat as a pancake, there wasn't a wash cloth for a shower, and no kitchen towel to dry dishes. Had to purchase many items to make our stay comfortable. On a positive note the place was clean.

Pefect little duplex

I stayed here for work, and it was the perfect place to relax and unwind after a long day at work. It was in a quiet neighborhood close to shopping and food. If i am in this area again I will be staying here.

Check in was great and the host was prompt to respond to any messages we had. The property was spacious and even had a small completely fenced in back yard for our dogs to go out. Neighborhood was quiet and there was a community park within walking distance from the property. There was a washer and dryer, full fridge, a stove and a table to eat at. The kitchen had plates and utensils but was limited to that. Nothing to cook with or a coffee maker. Rules state everything should be washed and put away but didnt provide soap. We were happy to be able to bring the dogs with us but did have to provide an extra pet fee for one of the dogs and was told they absolutely could not be on furniture. However, when we arrived there was already pet hair on the couch covers in the living room. The location was in a prime spot and seemed to be about 15-25 minutes away from everything we wanted to do in Austin. The experience overall was very good and we would probably use this host again in the future.

It was okay

A little disappointed in what was offered at the place. No hand soap, two rolls of to for over a week stay, no salt or pepper, ect. Typically you get a small shampoo and conditioner and there was nothing. Very bare minimum. The place smelled like stale cigarettes too, but they had an air purifier.

2 weeks in Austin

The house us fine, half a duplex, spacious for just myself. And safe neighborhood for a single female. i much appreciated the nearby running trail & pet friendliness. The home smells of smoke - which i had read in previous review, so i arrived with air fresheners. The owner was apparently planning to rent the home out longterm rather than short, & asked me to let a realtor in to take pictures. As a short term renter, i did not appreciate having my stay interrupted. I had rented a home for privacy, & lost a bit of it. The owner did ask first, but i did not feel free to say no. The experience was fine otherwise.
