Host provided a wonderful snack tray, wine, cookies and ice cream upon our arrival. Wonderful 3 bedroom farmhouse on a private setting. Comfy beds, good internet. Would stay there again.

What a cute house! Our host was the best I’ve ever had! She left us a sweet Halloween Card and treats! The house was decorated for Halloween and fall. The beds were very comfortable. Enjoyed the visits with the cows. Our girls weekend was perfect!

The house was perfect for us. Sitting outside and enjoying the evening breeze, watching the cattle in the field behind us, was just so peaceful. I enjoyed my mornings on the sun porch, drinking coffee and watching the sunrise.

This was a peaceful and serene country farmhouse next door to all the convenience of the city! Great for hosting a small family reunion luncheon. No parking restrictions like at several homes in the area. Also, there were terrific conversational settings both indoors in one of the two dining areas or living room or in the beautiful well groomed and fenced yard.

Country style in town

great place to stay in the Brenham area, it is in town but seems more like the country with the property. Would stay here again.

We came for the Round Top Antique Show. We was an easy drive to round top. There is a Starbucks and lots of restaurants close by. It’s great though you feel like you’re out in the country which you are, but you’re close to everything you need.

Excellent location for our needs. Loved the old farm house and host went above and beyond with snacks and bluebell ice cream. It could use a good cleaning, but still was not bad. We will definitely stay here again if in the area.

The house is charming and family friendly. The host was quick to answer my questions and was very accommodating. The snacks and ice cream that were waiting for us was a nice surprise. We’ll definitely be staying here again!

Beautiful home

Our stay was incredible. The house is so cute and the view of the next door pasture with the cows made the perfect evening sitting outside. Jean is a wonderful host! I’m already planning my next stay and making sure I book this house.

Windy Hill

We had a fabulous time and found the house to be very well stocked. The hostess was easy to reach and responsive. She included lots of thoughtful touches and we will likely stay here again.

Great old farmhouse with a lot of charm and some very nice touches from the host that made our family feel right at home. The house sits up on a hill with great views out the back. It does have a busy highway down the hill in front of the house, so you’ll get some highway noise but we used a white noise machine at night in the front room and had zero issues sleeping. We would definitely stay here again when in the Brenham area.

Great Little House on the Hill

If you are looking to get out of town for a nice relaxing country weekend, this is the house for you! The owners communicated very well with any questions. The house was very clean and spacious for an old farmhouse! The view from the back patio was amazing!

Bright and cheery

The house is newly renovated, bright, clean and has a comfortable living area. It was even decorated for Thanksgiving. The owner was very hospitable and even left Blue Bell ice cream in the freezer for us. I would definitely rent this home in the future.

We had two Silver Anniversaries and two Birthdays to celebrate, with only 5 adults! The house was perfect for the family. Side sun room was air conditioned. Doesn't get much better!

Going the extra mile.

By far the most welcoming feeling from the moment you walk in the door. Windy Hill Ranch has everything you would expect and so much more to make you feel at home. Easy to see the TLC that was put into the restoration of this grand old farm house. Perfect location to explore the Texas Bluebonnet Wine Trail from.
