Whether you seek a fun family getaway, friends gathering for tennis, pickelball or one of Kiawah's 5 fantastic golf courses, or just a quiet place to decamp from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, Seas the Day provides easy access to all that tranquil Kiawah Island has to offer. This executive Oceanwoods lagoon-front home is a short 3 minute Walk to West Beach, to Boardwalks 14 & 15 just off beautiful Eugenia! An easy bike ride to The Sanctuary, or the Roy Barth Championship Tennis Center (now featuring pickelball courts for rent), and less than 10 minute drive to the shops & restaurants at Freshfields, this cul de sac location provides both privacy and proximity. The primary suite features a king sized Tempurpedic adjustable bed (split king with individual controllers) and an en suite bathroom. Watch the herons & egrets diving & fish jumping from this sunlit suite. An adjacent Bunk Room features a full over full bunk, an en-suite bathroom & laundry room. The “Front 9” suite has another brand new King BR with lagoon view, plus an adjacent ultra-comfortable Queen BR with shared bathroom. Both of these bedrooms also have new wall-mounted 42” smart TVs. A half bath just inside the front door provides easy access for quick visits from the beach or bike ride, and an outdoor shower is perfect for sandy toes.
Enjoy your morning coffee or evening cocktails in the lagoon front sun-lit windowed room outfitted with a pair of swivel chairs or grab a quick nap in the twin sized Charleston swing. A grilling porch is steps away from the kitchen, with gas Weber Grille with direct propane connection (no running out of gas!) The upgraded kitchen has high ceilings, stainless steel appliances & gas cooktop, a drip & Keurig coffee maker, blender, and it is well equipped for wining & dining during your stay. The home has a tankless hot water heater, Insteon Hot & Cold filtered water at the kitchen sink, and a new refrigerator with ice maker in the freezer. An open living/dining area features a stunning 86” 4K SmartTV for enjoying movies or sports, and the home has Xfinity High speed internet wi-fi for internet & TV apps. Casual dining for 6 at dining table, 3 at bar in the kitchen, and 6 outside on the grilling porch. We have provided 8 folding beach chairs & several beach umbrellas out by the lagoon-facing shower, and 8 Turkish beach towels help lighten your packing load. 2025 new HVAC, duct work, air scrubber & roof. Fun fact: this home was where the HGTV film crew stayed during the 2013 Dream Home giveaway, and its previous owner is a NASCAR driver.
Kiawah is known for its wildlife, so keep an eye out for the family of deer you may see as the sun comes up, and alligators basking in the sun by the lagoon...

questa casa vacanze vanta una posizione strategica a Kiawah, in West Beach, un'area adiacente a un campo da golf e vicino alla spiaggia. The Resort Shop e Edisto Island Serpentarium sono due delle principali attrazioni della zona. Per un po' di sano shopping, invece, è d'obbligo una tappa a Freshfields Village e Center Street . Anche Splash Zone Waterpark e Fort Lamar Historic Preserve meritano una visita. Ammira gli stupefacenti animali della zona con le escursioni alla ricerca di animali selvatici e il birdwatching.

We are 2 families with a love of luxury travel. One has been homeowners on Kiawah for 19 years, and the other owns rental properties in in NC and FL. While we are not professional property managers, we have taken great care to curate the home's furnishings, decor & amenities, and to provide you with a comprehensive vacation guide to maximize your fun while on Kiawah. We have outfitted this vacation rental with the amenities we appreciate when we travel including incredibly comfortable beds & pillows, white noise machines, hairdryers, fully stocked kitchen, and beach chairs to lighten your load as you travel.

Most Oceanwoods homes are 3/2 properties. This one gives a lot more breathing room at 4/3.5 so perfect for gatherings of family or friends. The close walk to beach, or bike/drive to Freshfields make this home a favorite for our guests. The lagoon-front location feels like Gilligan's Island!
