The perfect place for family and friends to gather. Take a trip through history in this beautiful 3600sq ft home located close to downtown + Seymore Johnson Air Force Base. We are proudly the 3rd owners of this 1928 home. 3 Rooms upstairs with king size beds. Master with Private bathroom. Downstairs room w/queen bed. 2 Large sectional couches. AT&T Fiber Internet. Updated kitchen with heated floors. A large yard with a small section fully fenced in. A covered patio, private parking and gas grill. The detached garage apartment in the back of the property is occasionally occupied. Work force renters + Senior/Digital nomads welcome!

This beautiful, historic home was the perfect place for my family to stay while we were in town for a wedding. It has every amenity you could ever need & the owners were so kind & accommodating. Any time I messaged with a question, the response was extremely quick. It is convenient to downtown, as well as The Cornealius Properties wedding venue. Beds were very cozy, kitchen & dining area are excellent for a large family, accessing the property & check in/out were a breeze. I adore the character & charm of this house & we wish our stay could have been even longer!

Amazing Property

We enjoyed our stay on this property. The home is very historic. Our family that stayed in Kinston drove to view this place. The decorations are stylish and very tasteful.There was everything you could think of and more for accommodations and the host was very responsive to our needs. will recommend this to others.

Graduation getaway

We stayed here during my daughter’s graduation week at ECU. Plenty of space for 10 adults! The house was adorable and Chelsea was an amazing host- very helpful and always quick to reply!

We were in town for a conference and were disappointed we couldn't stay at the house longer and enjoy the space more. Chelsea was super accommodating and the house had all the stuff you need. It was 9 minutes from the Maxwell Center. Clean, comfy, and spacious.

Beautifully remodeled historic home. Has all the luxuries without compromising the history. Plenty of room to relax and many sleeping options. Love the touches of ‘Southern Hospitality’ to make us feel welcome.

Well appointed home with hosts anticipating every travel need. Would use again enthusiastically. House located in dense older neighborhood so expect a lot of activity in surrounding area. Always felt safe and at ease, no issues there. Loved staying there!

A beautifully restored period home away from home.

This is a beautifully restored home with everything you could possibly need, and then some. We stayed for 5 nights over Christmas and felt so at home. We were all sad to leave. Chelsea is so accomodating and friendly and has thought of all the little extras that make the home so welcoming.

Clean and comfy

The house was the cleanest VRBO I’ve stayed in. The beds we so comfortable- also a first for me at a VRBO. Chelsea went out of her way to accommodate us with our dog allergies. Plenty of clean towels and linens, extra blankets, dishes, glasses, etc. safe neighborhood and great communication. Thanks so much!

A perfect place to stay

I simply cannot say enough about this property and host! Chelsea was absolutely amazing, went way above and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable and stress free! We were in town for my daughter’s wedding. It was so nice to have this home as our home base for the long weekend. Everything we needed was right there; there’s not a thing I can think of that our gracious hosts didn’t provide. What a treasure!

Wedding weekend

Our oldest grandson’s wedding was in Goldsboro and I needed a large space to accommodate 6 adults and three children. This house had more than enough space! Large rooms, beautifully decorated, all the amenities and much better than the pictures showed. The host was responsive and my husband even had a chance to meet her! We highly recommend this beautiful home and look forward to going back!

Historic home vacation

This house was built in 1928 and it is still beautiful. Of course it has been updated - the kitchen is gorgeous. The kitchen is also well equipped for long stays. The owner, Chelsea, was so accommodating. She was very attentive and quick to answer questions. The beds are extremely comfortable and the house was so clean. You will love the kitchen and all the extras Chelsea provides. This house can accommodate a lot of folks. Our group consisted of 2 sons, one daughter-in-law, our 2 year old grandson and our small dog. My husband and I grew up in Goldsboro and we felt safe and comfortable. It is in close proximity to Herman Park- good park for kids and has tennis courts. sorry no pickle ball at this park. We would love to stay here again.

The Perfect Gem

I don't know what we would have done if we hadn't found this property! This home was beautiful. The perfect amount of modern spliced with Southern charm!We stayed in Goldsboro to attend my husband's military retirement ceremony. We needed a big enough house to accommodate our family and to host a small gathering - this house was perfect for what we needed - it exceeded our expectations! The amenities were top notch - from the cookware, appliances, washer/dryer - plenty of outdoor games for guests to play (cornhole, big Jenga, etc). They had a ton of extra lawn chairs we were able to use as well. Things we didn't even really consider we would have liked to have until we got down there. It was great!The beds and couches were very comfortable - no one had issues sleeping. The house was very neat - if you love early 20th century houses - everyone enjoyed walking around and looking at the beautiful architecture. The modern updates don't overpower the original look, which we thought was very special. Chelsea was very welcoming with a handwritten note to greet us and a gift. We felt very at home. She had great communication and was even able to accommodate an early check in (which meant A LOT to us considering we had a very long travel time).Five Stars! We would recommend this place to anyone we know. We absolutely loved it - thank you for the perfect stay!

Hostess with the Mostess

My husband and I usually always book VRBO houses when we travel. Especially if it is going to be more than 2 night stay. We just love the comfort of a home and just hanging out with our family and friends. This was the most hostess friendly home I have ever stayed in. Every single accommodation was thought out and executed. We were in town for a friends wedding and we loved coming home to a comfortable, equipped, beautiful home!!! Thank you to Chelsea and Andrew - you all the best!

Family Thanksgiving

This place was stunning! Chelsea went above and beyond to accommodate our family, including buying a CRIB!!! The kitchen was well appointed with everything we could possibly need for our thanksgiving day cooking and serving. The beds, pillows and linens were high end and very soft and comfortable. There was plenty of space for everyone and we had the best time! We’d certainly come back again.
