The place was beautiful and clean. If you are looking for a spacious retreat outside of the city but close enough for easy travels, than look no further. There are some things to consider when stay in desert terrain. Wide life and not heavily lit up at night. However, you won't get a better view of the night sky!!!!!

My family enjoyed the property for Thanksgiving. Property was well appointed and easily accommodated my wife and I, 3 little granddaughters and their parents. Nice quiet location, but conveniently located near many attractions and grocery stores. Great stay. I would recommend it to anyone.

Santa Fe Vacation

Lovely home in a beautiful location! Peaceful and quiet neighborhood only a short drive to restaurants and activities. Home had everything we needed for our stay including a very clean, well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and plenty of room to spread out and relax.

I was visiting with my two sisters. We enjoyed the place. The outdoor seating area is especially nice for morning coffee.

A wonderful, comfortable home in a great location. Dean was extremely helpful and a great host. The house is very close to our favorite hiking spot, Galisteo Basin Reserve. It’s in a very quiet area away from the hustle and bustle of Santa Fe but only about 20 minutes from most of Santa Fe. We would certainly want to stay there in the future.

Great home and neighborhood

I enjoyed my retreat here at Dean and Gloria's home in the western edge of Eldorado. Plenty of space for larger groups and with all the desired amenities.

PA to NM fun

The property was beautiful. Accommodations were perfect for 5 friends. We seemed to be centrally located abd able to venture on day trips in any direction. We enjoyed close eateries and an easy drive into Santa Fe.

Easy and lovely stay

I would go back anytime. Great property - well kept, clean, tidy. Loved the outdoor spaces and views. Great communication with owners. Everything worked perfectly.

Serene, spectacularly beautitufl, extremely clean and comfortable home.

An immaculately clean, well-equipped, comfortable property with stunningly beautiful views and extraordinarily welcoming, thoughtful and helpful hosts. Lots to do and deeply restful, too. Spacious and private. Can't wait until we can come back!

holiday getaway with family

We were five adults. The home was perfect for our needs (a quiet place to return to after visiting friends at Tesuque Pueblo, Ohkay Owingeh, Taos, and Santa Fe). We cooked a lot and were happy for a well-stocked supply of pots, pans, and spices.

Julie and guests spent Christmas week at Casa de Ochoa. It was a return to Santa Fe to visit friends and enjoy Northern New Mexico. The guests were respectful, communicative and followed house rules and would gladly have Julie and guests back anytime.

Casa de Ochoa was a perfect location for us. We have some of our group with mobility issues and it was perfect!! Nice wide doorways, no steps other than a small “lip” stepping from the driveway to the patio/entry. So comfortable! We enjoyed a week of relaxation and quiet. Dean & Gloria were wonderful hosts. Not a single snag!!!! We look forward to returning

Perfect Getaway

Beautiful Adobe had everything we needed. Perfect for 2 couples, or a family. Great location outside of Santa Fe. Quiet, peaceful place to return to after a full day of activities. Gloria and Dean were great hosts, provided good ideas for our visit and were very responsive. We would choose this VRBO again!

Friends Reunion

We loved being in such a quiet, lovely home together with friends we have known for years but hadn’t seen in some time. We spent hours catching up and seeing some of the fun sights in Santa Fe.

Photos do not do this home justice!

This property was way better than the photos and we were pleasantly surprised! The home was spotless, had a nice open layout, beautiful outdoor space and ample linens. Eldorado is a little out of town but there was plenty of kitchen amenities and we had everything we needed.
