We forgot to write our experience in the book! And we absolutely loved the place. It was a dream and completely what we wanted. Our hosts were kind and good comunictors. We felt blessed. The kittens were so nice to us too!

This is a unique, charming little homestead, and David was as courteous and responsive a host as we’ve had. I would definitely recommend the property and stay again when in the area.

A wonderful haven

A truly magical stay on a beautiful piece of land. We were surrounded by tranquility and very sweet cats (who live on the property). David and his family were very kind of welcoming. Would fully recommend to anyone and would love to come back for another stay!

Amazing!

The host was super friendly with speedy replies, the cabin was so cute and cozy, and the check in was super easy. The three kitties was an added bonus! Would 100% stay again if ever in the area.

This is such a quant get away cabin. No tv, but they have wifi. We wanted to come home at night and relax after being out at the finger lakes all day- away from it all. This hit the mark. The owner was great and the place was well maintained. We really enjoyed our stay.

Nature and Tranquility

Cute little cottage in a stunningly beautiful & quiet area. Gorgeous sunrises and star gazing. Well stocked kitchen and bathroom. Dave was very attentive and responsive. The kitties around the property were very sweet & friendly. Would definitely return!

The views where just as beautiful as the picture. There was a deer that visited us early in the morning. We also had 3 of the sweetest cats visit us for breakfast on the porch every morning. The place was very cute. My husband was a little disappointed that he couldn’t find any comfortable seating for him. The seat cushions were all very flimsy making sitting, for him, quickly uncomfortable, and the couch back was too short for him to lean back and relax. I’m not as big so didn’t find seating as uncomfortable. I’m a small person. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for basic cooking. The view is perfect from the kitchen. Your engulfed with the beautiful views of the outdoors while you prepare meals. The porch off the kitchen is rustic and peaceful. Great coffee spot. The one thing you need to be aware of is the ladder to the bedroom above the kitchen. It’s not wide enough or centered to the opening above for easy use. I felt unstable at the top going up and coming down. You have to awkwardly position yourself because the ladder is off center. It’s scary. Aside from the ladder, that definitely needs adjusted, the place is very peaceful.

Comfort can certainly vary from person to person, and we understand that guests have different preferences. Regarding the loft ladder, guest safety is extremely important to us. The ladder is securely installed and inspected regularly, though we understand it may feel more challenging for some guests than others. Relax and unwind

This place is great for getting away for just a little while and forgetting all your worries. Property was very clean, and had all the amenities and more we could ask for! Would most definitely come back for another relaxation weekend.

Peaceful and Charming

We had a great stay. This cottage/cabin is on a lovely property. The cabin has unique charm that made us feel at home. The owners are very polite and responsive. You will feel at peace instantly and be able to take a breath of fresh air.

Peaceful haven off the beaten path. We were lucky enough to have spectacular weather and spent lazy afternoon hours reading by the pond to the sound of crickets and birds and sipping coffee on the porch in the morning. A quaint and well appointed cabin - and wonderful communication from the host. Looking forward to getting back there soon…

This was such a beautiful, serene place. Location was excellent for Ithaca, Watkins Glen and Cornell waterfall trails and hiking. The upstairs loft was super cute but we slept on the futon downstairs, which was so comfortable with a thick memory foam topper. Also, I had never experienced bath towels like these.... so luxurious!We had company at our mightly campfires. Very friendly feline friends.This is cozy, country charm with a bit of artistic whimsy. Magical Thank you, David!

Bohemian Mellow

Eclectic decor, comfortable cabin with a great view, friendly outdoor cats, good bathroom and kitchen. We didn’t use the upstairs bed as the ladder seemed a bit daunting in the night. We really enjoyed the house and the yard, and we hope to return.

Heavenly, with frogs

David’s cabin was quirky in the best way—lovingly built and furnished, with all the fluffy towels and kitchen goods we needed for a short stay. The grounds were serene and delightful, with a rainbow of birds and wildflowers, three friendly cats, fireflies, and some raucous nocturnal frogs that were easily drowned out with the provided fans. The perfect quiet (except those frogs!) country retreat. Note: the cabin is on a gravel road; our rental car seems to have emerged unscathed.
