Enjoy this genuine white pine cabin with 1,000 ft of frontage on the Betsie River and 10 private wooded acres.

Large main bedroom with king bed. Uniquely crafted sliding doors in the upper level offer configuration options for family or privacy. Comfortable sofas, wifi, video gaming, and large TV will keep the kids happy.

Skiing at Crystal Mountain is just 2 easy miles away and miles of snowmobile trails are right around the corner.

Very close to Arcadia Bluffs provide unforgettable hiking.

Many area golf courses to enjoy while taking in the northern Michigan views.

Some of the best fishing in the world right outside your door. Kayaks are available and keep warm around the large stone firepit. Or, simply relax by the river with a book.

Full size washer and dryer and well designed kitchen. Massive deck for family meals.

Visit the surrounding areas including Frankfort (25 minutes away), Traverse City (45 minute drive), Crystal Lake, Bear Lake, Lake Michigan beaches, Sleeping Bear Dunes (35 minutes away), distilleries, wineries, casinos, golf courses, and more! Iron Fish Distillery is just around the bend!

We had an awesome time on this property. The Betsie is beautiful and the cabin and property were very accommodating. I would come back here in a heartbeat. Mindy was super helpful, kind and communicative!

Mindy was an excellent host to work with, communication was always on point, offering quick answers to questions and suggestions while we were visiting. The cabin was clean and had all the amenities we were expecting. We spent most of the weekend fishing, but we also ventured over to the Baldy trailhead to check out the Baldy Bluff, Arcadia Marsh, and a few other nature areas. This private location is off the beaten path, and is such a great spot on the Betsie River, and near Thompsonville/Arcadia/Frankfort for other activities. We hope to stay with you folks again! Highly recommended!

The cabin was perfect! My wife and I loved it. It was very peaceful and secluded. Very close to the Iron Fish distillery which had a great atmosphere and live music. We would definitely like to stay here again!

Great stay at the cabin in the woods!

Excellent location close to Crystal Mountain and Iron Fish Distillery. We loved the privacy of the location and being right on the Betsie River. The house was the perfect cabin experience! Owner was great with all communications. We would love to come back and stay again!

Amazing place to take in the pristine Michigan wilderness

Clean, well provisioned, and very comfortable place to stay. The outdoor setup is amazing. Great fire pit and deck. Also right on the river, and very close to other outdoor activities / entertainment. Would definitely book again

"Best VRBO ever"- everyone in our group

Group of friends stayed here for a long weekend and what a great set up. Host clearly takes pride in the place. Very obvious that they put in a lot of work for it to be a warm, welcoming and enjoyable experience.

Weekend Getaway

I booked this location to have a getaway for some friends and family from around the countty. Upon arrival, the property was beautiful, clean, and remote. It fit all our needs and more! The host was very responsive, accommodating, and helpful. 10/10 I hope to go back sometime soon!

The property is great. Lots of sleeping space and things to do in the area. The property was wonderful and check in was a breeze. Mindy was great to work with and communication was great. Highly recommend to anyone who wants a nice quiet getaway, with lots to do in the surrounding area.

AMAZING STAY!

This was an absolutely perfect get away. Beautiful spot, a quick walk down the hill to the river, and amazing fire pit to spend the evenings! Everything was exactly as advertised, and the owner went above and beyond to accommodate us MULTIPLE times! Incredible experience, and we will be back next year! I would recommend this space to anyone!

Great secluded cabin by the river!

Our family of eight stayed for three nights and enjoyed it immensely. The inside is well stocked with anything you need, and the outside is even better. Mindy was great and very responsive. We will go back next year!

Good Spot. Great Firepit!

None of the pictures showed the fire pit and it is the star of this property! The accommodations were good, but lacking a big table to eat indoors or play board games. It sleeps eight, but unless you’re outside at the huge firepit or ant the outside table on the deck, it only “feeds three or four”. Loved the location.

Betsie River Property

Great location with private access to Betsie. Description understates how great the access to Betsie really is. We wanted a secluded stay for a few days following visiting Chicago but still have a ton of activities available for the kids. This place delivered. Check out the distillery, ski mountain for chair lift for mountain biking all within a couple minutes. Crystal Lake and town is 10-15 minutes and Sleeping Bear is 30-45 minutes for a great day trip.

Nice place and peaceful though led to believe river access

The cabin is nice and peaceful. Although We were far from the river and it could not be seen from the house, which we assumed. . Also the address needs to be added to the tree on private lane where all other addresses are added. Got a good vibe after communicating with the owner.

Great stay!

The stay was very pleasant. Only thing that would have made it better would have been screens in the windows so we could have some air circulation without bugs. The cabin has no HVAC so this was the only option and they were home for cleaning instead of on the property. Otherwise great stay, easy communication and once we found the cabin, it was easy to navigate to places from it. First time pulling up, there was a lack of signage to find the property and ended up going to the neighbors first to ask for directions.
