DIRTY, DISCUSTING, POORLY RUN.
Unfortunately we arrived after a long day of travel. Walking up to the room was tricky. There was piles upon piles of bird droppings all over the place. No avoiding it with suitcases and your shoes. I mean piles. Upon entering our room our children notice a cockroach about 4 inches long. Yeah I get it, it's Florida. Get an exterminator to control this.... Kids freaking out. Message the people on vrbo. They send a cleaning lady to look for more. I message the property owner to see if they have another room. My kids were never gonna relax after that drama. To our delight they had another room to put us in. Start our trek through the piles of bird droppings to the next room. Believe it or not, on top of bird droppings all over the door mat, a dead cockroach now. Now my kids are done. Traveling all day to step into this disaster? We left. Found a great hotel down the road. Clean, no bird droppings, no roaches, clean like you would expect. Messaged the property manager, told them we left and wanted a refund. They said they would refund 4 days of our stay. Fine. Called vrbo. Told them the story. They said they would follow up on the refund. Never happened not one dollar. I had to start a dispute on my card. Very poor customer service on both ends. This property SHOULD have been CLEANER! VRBO should have done something. All in all, if you want bird droppings and cockroaches, this place is for you. If not. Move on. Gross. Disgusting.
