Super clean and quiet. Very spacious, and the bathrooms and kitchen were well stocked and roomy. Excellent wifi. The mattresses, pillows, and bed linens were comfortable/good quality.

Perfect little cabin for hubs and I. Wonderful view from the hot tub of the sun setting. Cabin stocked with all the necessities . Close to town and I highly recommend . We will be back !

Big oaks

Very clean and very close to town. Central location for hiking and waterfall chasing. We really enjoyed our stay! Will look into going there again in the future!

Great View and Great Location!

Had a great stay!! The view was amazing from front porch!! Enjoyed the hot tub! House very clean!! Close to town made it easy to get around!

We had a wonderful long weekend in Bryson City. We stayed at Big Oaks Pointe and the cabin was amazing. Beautiful views of the mountains and Bryson City.

Really enjoyed our stay, however, we think the description of property should be more transparent to tell guests that the driveway to the house is steep and an all wheel drive vehicle is highly recommended. We managed with our Buick Enclave but it was a struggle. I saw this info in the reviews but not in your description and wish we were more prepared for getting in & out of the property. Your directions to the house were confusing in that you mentioned going through an iron gate. There were 2 iron gates, and at first we went through the wrong one. It would be a good idea to put a sign for Big Oaks Pointe on the iron gate you are referring to in your description. Also, based on the description, our group (2 older couples) was expecting both bedrooms to have private bathrooms but this was not the case for the bedroom with queen bed. Another suggestion coming from the senior citizen perspective, a bath mat was missing in one of the tub/showers which made getting in & out of the tub a little slippery. We enjoyed the cleanliness of the cabin, as well as the peaceful setting. In the mornings we enjoyed our coffee while looking at the beautiful mountain views and listening to the Tuckasegee River. A little table on the deck to put our coffee cups would have been nice. The television in the living room no longer supports Netflix but we were able to find other movies at night to wind down. Overall, our stay in the cabin helped make our vacation a very pleasant and memorable one.

Amazing Stay

We didn’t know what to anticipate, but the property was many times nicer than the pics. Great view of the “Polar Express” if you have kids there n town for the railroad, this is the place. Beautiful river, mountain and railroad veiw.

Weekend getaway

Great location and view. Perfect size for a family of 4. Kids had blast. The town was so nice and only about a mile away. Very convenient. I would stay again.

Great location, view and house

The house is great, very clean, comfortable and hot tub is very relaxing! Also a great view of the mountains and you can see the train (from a distance) from the porch in the wintertime. The driveway can be a little tricky but worth the stay. Great location as well, only 7 minutes from the downtown.

Extended weekend getaway

Everything was wonderful. Clean, hot tub all ready for us when we arrived. The driveway to the property was the only thing that was challenging. It was easier to back in then to pull in. View was amazing!

Retired couple looking for getaway

This is a great place for couple or 2 couples. Driveway can be intimidating but manageable. Great view of valley and mountains. Very private and quiet. Large living space with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. All new appliances. Would definitely stay here again.

Loved this place

This is by far one of the nicest and well taken care of places we’ve stayed. The furnishings and the kitchen ware were phenomenal. Very impressed. Though, the fire place does not stay lit for more than a minute.

Please give driving directions from the IGA store. Our GPS took us up bad roads where our crystler 300 almost bottomed out. Train ride was great
