Home met our needs. There was plenty of space for a family of 7. Property manager was very responsive. Lots of seating.

In town for a funeral

The space was plenty roomy. With small children it was good to have separate spaces. The kitchen lacked a few things for full scale meal cooking (knives, sheet pans). A list of recommended take out and restaurants would be nice. Frank's pizza and the Chit Chat diner (go early!) were highlights.

Stayed here for the second time in two months and had just as good a time the second trip. Heavy recommend!

Needs ALOT of Maintenance

I'm surprise this is even a house rental!I'll start with the couple of pros with this property.It was clean.The space was good.It is in a great neighborhood and is a great location to restaurants and highway.Now for the things that make it the worst house I have ever rented!Maintain the paint!! The wall & doors look horrible!If you going to put your house on the market you should at least maintain it.Primary shower door handle fell off. The toilet flapper needs replacing. Coffee maker needs to be descaled.Bath & kitchen rugs were so worn & dirty I couldn't walk on them with my shoes on.Kitchen, king bedroom blinds are broke- don’t go all the way down.King bedroom light shade should be replaced.King TV remote need replacingKitchen cabinets don’t close & look very shabby.Front yard stairs are uneven & dangerous. A rail is neededNo trash bag for refillsGas burner was left on and we had to air out the house.NO Dish sponge, clothes, or podsDeck & back stairs are worn & need replaced.They were too scary to walk out on them.What makes it bad, I reached out after reading another bad review in April and the host assured me they over exaggerated. It wasn't.!if you don't care about that kind of stuff, this place may be for you.

Satisfactory place for the price

The property is centrally located and in a safe area. We did find the property less clean than we usually see in VRBO properties. Broken screens and trash on the floor on closets. Drawers filled with trash and dusty. Some newer upgrades made that are nice, but the property needs to be deep cleaned.

Property does NOT look as pictured.

Overall the check in process was easy. The house was big enough for our stay however the house was FILTHY. Upon entering the house i immediately noticed the walls were dirty which prompted me to make a video as i walked through. The blinds were dirty & broken in multiple rooms / bathrooms. There were stains on the tables. You could see that the vents had extreme buildup. There was dust & dirt everywhere. All of the walls were marked up/ dirty. Some walls had chipped paint & what looked like small holes from nails. There was some broken framed artwork. The laundry room was disgusting. There was a ring around the tub upstairs & the tub downstairs drained extremely slow. There was dirty blankets in the closet. One closet had some clothes left in it. The cabinets were dirty. There were even stains on the lamp shade. Prior to check in the property manager sent & responded to messages right away. After check in when i attempted to contact the property manager via VRBO & calling / texting the provided number i was ignored. The home has potential but was very disappointing.

Great Location!

My group was extremely satisfied with this rental. It was exactly what we were looking for, and exactly what was listed on the description. All the beds were comfortable and the amenities were exactly as listed. We had an excellent time and would instantly book again in the future!

Nice place for a group

We had a family of six adults and two children who stayed here for a funeral in Livingston. It's a great location for any event in north Jersey, because you're just a short distance from I280. The house has a lot of room and a lot of parking space. The beds are comfortable and 2 of the bedrooms are on tbe lower level. That's convenient if you have some who are on a different sleep schedule. The laundry room is on the lower level in its own room, which keeps the noise level down.There were a few negatives that should be corrected. Some basics such as salt & pepper shakers and trash bags were missing. The water heater was not adequate for number of people. My wife couldn't bath water hot enough for a tub soak after a long drive. The rear entrance requires most people to bend over to avoid hitting their heads. There was also a piece of sharp metal on the edge of the siding near that back door on which I scratched my head. Needless to say, that was not a great way to start our visit!One more negative you should know about: the bathroom for the master bedroom is very small. It's not big enough for two people. That wasn't a problem for us, but it might be for some people.Overall, I'd say it's a nice place for a group.

Not so newly renovated

The house had plenty of space, and lots of off street parking. The neighborhood was also very nice. The house, however, was not newly renovated; the deck, furniture and walls were showing wear and tear. The heat did not work in the lower level, and the extra blankets were not clean. We also had trouble getting into the property (given wrong code, door was blocked by a mat and the lock was loose).

Everything was great, lots of bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, and more than 1 space to hang out. We had little kids, so plugs should be put into the outlets near the floor. A few of the main rooms walls could use a refresher of paint

Beautiful home!

We were very impressed by this beautiful and spacious home. This home was well kept and clean. It was good to be only 30 minutes away from the city and it was equally nice to stay in a warm and quaint town, that was closely situated to shops, local stores etc. We will definitely book again when came back to the area.
