The condo was very clean. If you would rather cook than go out to eat the kitchen had everything you needed to cook a gourmet meal. Host was very friendly and helpful. Loved the beach view from the balcony. This is the second time I have stayed in this condo and loved every minute of both stays.

Have lived in SC my entire life and been to Myrtle hundreds of times, staying in high end resort condos, campgrounds, houses, you name it. This condo was absolutely perfect for me and my wife. Great location, quiet and safe, not crowded (not even the beach), not commercialized, well furnished and clean. If it was 100 steps to the beach, 30 of them were walking down steps from the second floor, it’s ON ON the beach. Can’t recommend this place enough and will definitely be back.

Great spot in North Myrtle

I had a wonderful long-term stay. The condo was stocked with everything you could need, and the location is great with a view of the ocean and nearby dozens of restaurants.

Great place

The property does need some upgrading but that didn't really bother me or my family. It was very clean and very comfortable and the view is to die for. Loved sitting on the deck in the mornings and evenings. We would definitely stay again.

Thank you for your feedback. Glad you enjoyed your stay. The condo was updated in 2022 with all new flooring and painting. We have more work planned for the hall bath and laundry room area this off season. The washer and dryer are also new as of last fall (2024). Thank you for considering our condo.

Beautiful Location

The location of this property was excellent. Beach front property where you could sit on the balcony and enjoy the view of the ocean. The property had everything needed to make our stay comfortable! The pool at the complex was small but really nice. I would recommend this place for a relaxing vacation

Great condo!

Excellent location right on the beach. Close to everything you need. Condo was clean and very nicely furnished. Kitchen has all you need . Neighborhood quiet and peaceful on the beach. Hope to stay there again.

Great family location

Loved the location and the smaller property. We have stayed at the Wyndham in the past. Condo was nice size, well equipped. It could use some updates, but it worked for us. Property Owners were great to work with.

Thank you for your feedback. Since your visit in June a new sliding glass door is being installed in September 2019 and we have new wood trim around the interior windows. We have also hang some new wall decor in the living room and second bedroom. We are continually working to keep the condo updated and in good working order.

Had an absolutely wonderful time on our long awaited vacation. Ocean view was marvelous - just steps away from the beach! Enjoyed walking the beach everyday - especially in the early mornings. A nice little home away from home gem. Would definitely stay here again!!

July 4th Week

We brought my parents down for July 4th week. It was awesome. A perfect view of the ocean, fireworks, nearby dining and our unit had everything we needed.

Beautiful View!

Windy Hill condo was very comfortable for our 3 day weekend getaway. It's an older building but overall it provided us with what we needed and the view was wonderful. It's very close to the beach and sitting on the deck it almost feels like you can touch the sand. We would definitely consider staying here again. Thanks for sharing your home with us :)

Because the place is located on the beach it provides easy beach access and beautiful sunrise views. They provided lots of hangers and the washer and dryer were nice. It would be better if the main sofa was replaced. It was old and smelly and had a wooden block nailed to the bottom of it. The cabinets in the kitchen are very outdated and the heaters in the bathrooms are covered with layers of chipping paint. The shower stall in the master bedroom was old and even had mold at the cracked bottom, and the toilet paper holders were rusty at their bases. The dishwasher is so noisy that we had to run it while we were out. The second bedroom had what appeared to be soot on the ceiling near the register. The place could be very nice if these issues were addressed.

As of June 1, 2026 we have replaced the dishwasher and purchased a new dining table set. We have also bought a new queen size sofa sleeper and an living room chair. There are new toilet paper holders in each bathroom. The second bedroom ceilIng is being cleaned and painted. We are working on having the bathroom baseboard heat registers replaced as well as repairing the crack mentioned on the master shower stall wall. The area brought up in this review is outside of the shower, not on the inside and does not affect using the shower. In the off season each year we do a renovation project and our intention this year is to address the kitchen cabinets. Puctures of the new livIng room and kitchen furniture are posted on this site as well as the new dishwasher. Thank you for consIdering our condo for your vacation.

Monthly retreat

Overall this was an excellent condo. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed to make this our home away from home for the month of November. The hosts were always quick to respond and helpful. We cannot comment about the pool since we stayed in November so it was closed. Would recommend for up to 4 people to have a very comfortable stay. We would stay here again. Thanks Michele and Dennis.

Absolutely loved the condo. It was very clean. Easy access to the beach. Manager very nice, answered any and all questions. Probably thought I was dumb. This was my first time using something like this to book a vacation.

Perfect location!!! The balcony and view were excellent. Everything worked in the condo. No complaints… very very hot water so be aware. (We loved it though). The only drawback is there is no elevator which is not the owner’s fault. So if you “overpack” like I do, be prepared. Some noise from above but it was small children and they were at the beach. We expect it. Thanks for a great getaway!

Perfect Get-Away Spot

Due to family issues, my daughter and I were the only ones who were able to enjoy this wonderful condo. We loved every minute of it! From the location on the map to the location at the beach, it was perfect! The condo was well equipped in the kitchen with every conceivable thing you would need. The living room was comfortable. The bedrooms were relaxing and clean. I slept like a baby the whole week. We enjoyed coffee on the balcony overlooking the ocean every morning. During the day we made use of the beach chairs in the closet with the washer and dryer. we will definitely come back!

More than enough

My sister & I rented this place for 1 week, from July 26-Aug 2. Communication with the owners was easy & clear via email. Front door sticks as if floor is raised. Rooms were clean & furniture comfortable. There was some cheese sauce stuck to a kitchen chair. Kitchen had more supplies than you could need, including coffee makers, crockpot, pots and pans, blender, utensils. Full size fridge. Already ice made in trays for us on arrival. Both beds were comfortable, with queen being softer than king. Floor mat in shared, main bathroom was soaking wet upon arrival as if taken out of the washer & not dried. Found some personal shampoo items still in that shower from previous renter. This bathroom could use TLC. Peeling wallpaper & paint. No problems with the master bath. Each room had a tv that worked just fine, with local & streaming channels. Kitchen cabinets & closet doors could use a coat of paint. The balcony was great! Being an end unit, the front & side were open to the breeze. Washer & dryer worked well. 2 beach chairs & 2 boogie boards were stored there for use, too. Also a bag of beach toys. Pool wasn't huge, but good enough for us. Parking was easy with a pass. Some pets were in the building, but were never a problem. Private beach was great & not crowded, yet busy. We were able to rent an umbrella for the week, which was put up & taken down at 5 PM for us every day. Easy access to restaurants & Barefoot Landing. All in all, a really nice place to stay.

Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry you encountered some housekeeping issues. I will discuss this with our cleaning service. We have several remolding projects scheduled for this fall which includes stripping and painting the main ball as described. We will also be doing some painting in other areas. When the floor was tiled by the front door it raised the floor height and cut down on the bottom clearance space under the door. We need to get it sanded down to give it more space. The washer and dryer are new as of Fall 2024. Owners are allowed to have pets so they may be there occasionally.

The condo was clean and exactly as advertised. The host was very responsive and friendly. The balcony was very nice but only has seating for two people at a time. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend to others.

As with most reality it is location, location, location. This unit was in a great spot with access to most everything you could want from the North Myrtle Beach while being away from all of the crowds of Myrtle Beach proper, and as a bonus, not being one of those high rise buildings meant that the beach was much less crowded when you were looking for a spot in the sand. Everything was as described and the new furniture additions were wonderful to have, eg sofa, kitchen table, etc. The unit was clean, and Dennis was able to answer the few questions that we had before arrival. All in all a great family full week stay!
