We had an incredible month long stay!!! House sleeps 10 easily, but was extremely comfortable for the (4) of us that stayed the entire month. Everything was as advertised, host was extremely responsive for anything we need, and location is perfect. Such a fun neighborhood to walk around, 10 minutes from downtown SLT, 7 minutes from Cali lift. Whether you’re there for summer or winter, you’ll have a fantastic time staying at this property.

Second wonderful stay

This was our second time at Michele's home in South Lake Tahoe and we had another wonderful stay! The house is comfortable, spacious, and had everything we needed for a wonderful holiday trip.

Cozy home in a beautiful neighborhood

We loved our stay at Michelle's home in South Lake Tahoe. The house was spacious with comfortable, new beds and furniture. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans, a pressure cooker/rice cooker and lots of spices and things needed for cooking. The house sits up off the road, so it feels like you're perched up in the trees and it feels private. The location was great, with a quick drive to Heavenly's California Lodge and just 10 mins to the center of town with all the restaurants, shops and casinos. We would definitely stay at this home again!

So Perfect

This beautiful home is located in my favorite area of South Lake Tahoe. A few minutes from downtown, tucked away in the pines in a quiet neighborhood - the location is ideal for a longer term stay, where there are many days when you want to tuck away from the busyness. There are so many things we loved about the home. It is spacious yet cozy, with extremely comfortable beds. The kitchen is very well equipped - something that is really important to us. The hot tub was such an added bonus, something we didn't know how much we would love until we had the opportunity. Michele was a clear and kind communicator, and I felt like we were in good hands should any need arise. All in all, it was perfect for us.

Cozy mountain home

Our month-long stay at the Godinez Cabin was wonderful. We were blessed with some great snow and spent most days skiing at Heavenly, less than 10 minutes away. We also enjoyed 2 great trails within walking distance of the house - Cold Creek and Powerline, which are great for snowshoeing and hiking. The WiFi was speedy, which allowed us to work remotely without any issues. Michelle was a gracious host. Our arrival date coincided with the start of a multiday blizzard, and she allowed us to check in a day early so that we could stock up on groceries. On snowy days, the driveway was plowed daily, and the city snowplow responsible for cleaning the street came almost every afternoon. Throughout our stay there were a couple of issues that needed attention, and Michelle and her team were prompt to address all of the issues. Everything you need as a guest is provided: there are plenty of sheets, blankets, bath towels and swim towels for a full house. We cooked a lot during our stay, in part because of how well stocked the kitchen is! In addition to the basic kitchenware, there was a dutch oven, electric pressure cooker, and stand mixer which were great for whipping up soups and baked goods. A note for future guests - There are 2 flights of stairs between the garage and the house; this was fine for our group, but may be challenging for guests with impaired mobility or not accustomed to elevation. All in all, our stay was a wonderful respite and we'd love to stay at this home again.

If you do rent this house, check out the storage closets for supplies already on hand. This house is well stocked with everyday stuff. We got our money's worth using the jacuzzi, barbcue grill and the Traeger smoker all on site. Communicating with the owner, Michelle, was easy as she always responded immediately to all requests or questions. There is plenty of room inside and outside of the house. Plenty of room for sitting on front and side decks and all in a very serene setting. This location is close to everything South Lake Tahoe has to offer. We're already planning on coming up here next summer to this location.
