My recent stay at Papa's Place was lovely. The kids loved being able to kayak, while also being close to downtown. The house was comfortable and cozy. I would highly recommend booking.

Great cabin

Plenty of kitchen equipment if you want to cook. Great location on the lake but close to town.

Great family space

This was a great place for a family. The kids found sticks and fished, we were near hiking trails and attractions, and going in to town was just a few minutes.

If you are looking for a great place to spend a few days that is everything that is advertised this is for you. We had a great time and the property management are the best you will find. We will be back.

Great Cabin and Guest House

Very nice accommodations and amenities. Very clean rooms. Enjoyed all the cabin decorations and wall hangings. Grand twins loved the area.

We had a wonderful stay at Papa’s Place! Communication with the host/property management was excellent both before and during our stay. They answered all of my questions ahead of time and provided clear instructions that made check-in a breeze. They even went above and beyond by delivering inner tubes for our family, which was such an unexpected and thoughtful surprise!The cabin itself was fantastic. We loved the eclectic, cozy cabin feel and all of the unique décor. It was well stocked with kitchen essentials, plenty of towels, board games, and even instructions for the TV. The beds were comfortable, and the guesthouse was a great bonus and gave us some additional space.The river was low in the channel that runs along the property during our stay, but we were still able to launch our kayaks and tubes and enjoy the water. There is also a nice campground just across the bridge with another spot to launch. The property has additional kayaks available to rent, and they also provided contact information for a neighbor who rents kayaks and paddle boards.It’s also a short and beautiful drive into Eureka Springs. We really enjoyed spending our extended holiday weekend at Papa’s Place and made some great family memories. If we’re ever back in the area, we would definitely stay here again! Thank you for sharing your place!

Loved the peaceful spot

Amazing, relaxing spot on the water. We loved the big white room and had a great time with the kayaks paddling out and around Beaver Bridge

Excellent Stay

We felt like we were right at home with everything. The esthetics of the entire property made us comfortable away from home. The beds were comfy and even with 10 of us in total, we never felt crammed and we all had our own space. Our family raved about it and we still do.

Relaxing time at the lake

Great property and great communication with the Manager. We had some issues at the check in but everything was handled quickly. The cabin has it's own charm and history, very unique.

Great Getaway

My family enjoyed our stay at this property. The cabin was perfectly appointed for home cooking, laundering, and enjoying a break from everyday life. Our children enjoyed using the kayaks and canoe. Would recommend to anyone that wants a quiet, quaint vacation. An issue we incurred was quickly addressed and managers were available and VERY helpful.

Property was perfect

Rented the property for my parents 50th anniversary. The pics do not do this place justice. If you are looking for a place near Eureka or just looking for a place on the lake, this is it.

Relaxing family vacation

We loved our stay at this cabin for our family of 6. This place was perfect for our family with teenagers. They had their own space in the guest cabin. The kayaks and canoe were fun to take out on the river. We loved sitting around the table playing games and roasting s’mores over a fire at night. Thank you for sharing your cabin.

It is a beautiful home and we thoroughly enjoyed using the canoe and kayak. The grill was completely rusted and the morning we were supposed to leave about 10 men showed up in the courtyard and not all the blinds would go down so we could get ready.

The grill should have been maintained and safe to use; rusted equipment is unacceptable, and we will address this immediately to ensure it meets proper standards. The situation with multiple people showing up in the courtyard is not expected or allowed without prior coordination—this will be investigated to prevent it from happening again. Regarding the blinds, we will have them checked and repaired so future guests can have full privacy and functionality. Your comments are taken seriously, and we are committed to fixing these issues to maintain the high standard of our property.

It is a cute cabin and the hosts are easy to communicate with. However, there were visible mice in the top kitchen drawer above the trash and droppings throughout the cabin, especially on the kitchen countertops and drawers and in every bathroom drawer on the main level. Cleanliness visibly lacked. The location was good and close to the downtown area.
